They only have a pre selection of songs. Was very lacking. Price wasn’t bad though

Decent karaoke spot with good service, but there’s a noticeable sewer-like odor inside that can be distracting. Entrance is located on the side of the building.

We had our name down and after 30 minutes we went back to check our spot in line. They had crossed our name off the list and never called or texted us. We were celebrating our friends birthday and they couldn’t accommodate and didn’t really have much to say. The person at the desk was apologetic but I wouldn’t come back.

Good for what it is. Decent selection of songs, pretty up to date. Reasonable pricing

Vivian Anderson

The man at the front desk was very rude when we were asking about pricing/if a friend could join our room. They instantly increased their voice when we were just asking questions

Fun place to go with friends really good prices and you can call ahead to check availability! Only con is that they lack a lot of popular songs like some Drake songs and newer rap and the machine definitely has a learning curve but other than that super fun experience!

We sang. We drank. We cried.

ENTRANCE is on the opposite side of the building, NOT by Wicked Snow.
if you take the hallway by the sign next to wicked snow, you have to walk all the way down the hall and turn to the left, walk down that hall, go back outside, turn to the right and walk and itll be to the right.
(it is down the road where pinkbox is.)

RATE - 5 people for $30/hour

the audio was really loud inside the room and it was not extremely hot in the room like KTV is. the remote was a little difficult to use (some of the buttons stuck to the remote when you pressed them) and there was options to search by country (china/japan/korea/pop which is western/etc) or artist, and in english or korean. it took a minute to figure out but we got it in the end. they do not have a super large number of artists available but youll figure out quickly which kinds of artists will be available.

you can hear other rooms when you are choosing a song but the audio is loud in the room while you are playing a song so there won't be any disturbances. no complaints about the mic.

we did not order food so i have nothing to say on that! i also dont have complaints about the staff as she only lead us to the room and explained how the remote worked, and took our payment. they dont have a payment flyer anywhere for some reason. there was also a button in the room (i did not test it) if you wanted to call a staff member.

BYOB is not allowed. It says near the front that after 9 pm, 21+ is allowed only and a physical id must be shown. not so sure if they check on that though.

I’ve been to Songbox several times and always had a great experience, but unfortunately, my most recent visit changed my perception of this place.

The staff was unprofessional and openly rude, making inappropriate comments about guests in Korean—assuming we wouldn’t understand (spoiler: we did). This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any hospitality setting. Additionally, a staff member wearing a Nationals hat wrongly accused us of not knowing our room number, despite us stating it clearly.

If you’re looking for a karaoke spot where you’ll be treated with respect, I’d recommend going elsewhere. I won’t be returning to Songbox.

The guy working the front desk who likes to wear the Nationals hat is mean and curses about his customers in Korean when he doesnt think they can understand him. Otherwise it’s a fun place for karaoke

Me and my friends come here all the time! this is truly one of the best spots for karaoke especially if a Kpop fan.

Intriguing

Very interesting place. Would definitely recommend going in a big group. Make it much more fun. I liked the individual rooms as opposed to a big bar and stage. I would recommend for a night of fun.

The Korean guy who always works there (I’m not sure if he’s the owner) always looks mad and rude, like he wants to quit. Even the female worker was rude. Even though there were only two of us, they still added gratuity, so make sure to double-check your receipt before paying. We only come here when the KTV is packed for karaoke; otherwise, we avoid this place because of the poor service. Someone needs to tell them to quit or do a better job

We walked in and immediately felt unwelcomed, thought maybe it would improve once we got a karaoke room, but unfortunately the service still made it seem like we were a troublesome hassle to serve, won't be coming back here. Lots of other choices in the area for karaoke.
