I had so nice experience at Texas Texan Wangbal. The food was really good, especially the jokbal and kimchi. Also my friends said half and half jokbal, spicy jokbal, and Budaey jungol were good as well. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. š½The server, Youung, was so kind and made the whole meal even better. Definitely a place Iād come back to! š·

- I came here with a friend and we got a jokbal meal combo ($40 no tip included) to share and it was really delicious ! The meal comes with a bunch of side dishes but no rice and I walked away feeling very satisfied.
- There was not much service given during the visit but it was ok !
- After tax and tip the total was around $53 and we had leftovers between two people. I would definitely come back and try something new ! The restaurant space is pretty small and I noticed a lot of people getting carry out so i would maybe opt for that the next time.
Overall, this place was very good at what they do (bossam/jokbal). I would recommend and come back !
Better jokbal vs one next to H-Mart.
My husband and I visited on Monday 6/16evening. We were greeted and served by two korean ladies who were very friendly and helpful. We were visiting from California and had the best Jokbal in the US here! Better than LA. Better than SD for sure!

I had a very bad experience today. We took our son out for his birthday lunch. We ordered quite a lot for a party of four. So the bill was not small. But when I politely asked for some spicy sauce, the waitress looked at me with a weird look and said NO. āNo sauce!ā I was shocked, thinking that she might not understand English very well. So I came to the counter and asked another lady who I believe was the owner. I received the same look! I was not coming to beg for free food. We paid the bill! No respect/care is what we got. The jokbal was bland, and thatās why I need the sriracha. After a while and a few times repeating my request, I got the sriracha with an unfriendly look from the owner. I wasted my time and money dining there. I will never return to this place. I just read another review down here and agreed with the author 100%: āDonāt go here if you donāt speak Korean.ā They looked as us like we were stupid! I think they donāt care how we feel. The food is not cheap by any means!
It comes in a lot of quantity and is delicious. Green onion kimchi restaurant. It was like Korea.

The jokbal and bossam were SO soft! The sides were all sour and complimented the meat well. We did feel rushed to finish though when the time was approaching 10:00pm (closing time)ā¦

Amazing, 10/10. Had the bossam combo. So much food. Also comes with a rich miso soup with class, i was very impressed. The bossam was well marinated and light.

Got in later in the evening last night to Dallas and although I like the Westin DFW, there arenāt a lot of food options open after 9pm so my instincts (and Google Maps) led me to a concentration of Korean restaurants, where I settled on a bossam/jokpal shopā¦small, great service, specializing in a couple of dishes (peep the small menu) but doing them extremely wellā¦couldnāt eaten three times as much bossam but the lady treated me like family and gave me a free extra pieces with my combo instead of ordering the medium portionā¦Would eat here at least once every other week if there was one near meā¦check them out if youāre in the area

As someone who never liked pork, itās actually insane to say that this place is my obsession!! Fast and friendly service and of course, delicious food. The bossam combo is 10/10 š
