Had to update my initial review from 5 years ago. Food came out wrong. Food was not warm. Was great server apologized frequently still left unsatisfied, wouldn’t go back

Excellent food, good service, large portion sizes, and reasonable prices. Classic breakfast food that is made well. We had Finnley as our server and she was phenomenal! We will definitely be back.

The Cambridge skillet with two poached eggs on it is my favorite!! The French toast with strawberries is also one of my favorites!! This place has such yummy food and a great green juice as well, 10/10!

My husband and I enjoy visiting breakfast restaurants. This one was a great choice. Nice atmosphere when we walked in, very clean, and good music was playing. Our server was the best and she has the most unique name like myself. :) we even witnessed management cleaning up and making sure an unhappy guest was taken care of. Great customer service!

I enjoyed chicken and waffles and a side of eggs- yes real eggs. My husband had an omelette, biscuits and gravy and grits with cheese. We will be back to try more of the menu. #excited!

Place presented itself well. We were greeted by tired employees who blew us off. Sat a very dirty table, noticeable chunks of food in the benches. Server was proffessional, but the food was cheap. All of our food looked like it came from Walmart brand section. The prices did not reflect this. I wish our server gave us expectations. The gravy was translucent. I hate leaving bad reviews but this experience reflects relaxed management and poor food sourcing decisions.

Ok...so I came to Awake expecting the same wonderful experience I usually have...NOT. I waited a full 25 minutes for my breakfast, which came out lukewarm at best. The place wasn't even that crowded like it used to be. Now I know why. So disappointing 😞 I asked the waitress if my food could be warmed. Unfortunately, the service has fallen off as well. She asked if I wanted it to go. When I said no, I need it heated because it is cold. She asked me which part I wanted heated. I ended up sending everything back. Y'all this is a place we frequent. My husband and I were just here several weeks ago having breakfast with our stepmom... I'm so sad that things have taken a turn. I loved this place. My hope is this was a one time thing, but I'm a person that falls off when my dining experience is less than desirable.

Well, after I sent it back the manager came out to see if there was something else I wanted. I asked if it could be remade. He had the meal redone and it was accepting. Just like I remember it to be. I don't know the Manager's name...a lovely ginger haired man...but I truly appreciated his intervention, and my yummy breakfast.

We sat outside and waited a long time to get our order taken. After our food was delivered, no one ever came back out to check if it was OK, had to get up and go inside to ask for something. Definitely not impressed with the service.
