Packed restaurant with rushing servers, everything is served in disposable containers and plastic bags. The flavor is not bad, ingredients are decent size, but just not a place will go back again and again.

The food is amazing! I had the Shrimps and fries. The shrimp are jumbo shrimps. Can't wait to come back again to try something different. They also have great customer service. Thank you for a great experience.

My favorite place. The crawfish are fresh and so yummy with the cajun seasoning. The servers are nice. They kept checking on us to make sure we're still doing good. Can't wait to come back

It was really busy on Saturday night. Most popular seemed to be the bags of spicy seafood which we tried. We enjoyed the crab and shrimp, medium spice but not lobster. Food and service was great!

Long-Time Loyal Customer, Deeply Disappointed

I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, especially for places I’ve loved for years—but after this experience, I feel compelled to share.

I drove all the way from Celina (near Dallas), just to visit this location—a spot that holds a lot of memories for my friends and me from our college days at UNT. We’ve spent plenty of money here ($120+ everytime and tipped well) over the years, and even now in my 30s, I still make the effort to come by when I can. I’ve recommended this place to at least ten people personally and have sung its praises many times on social media. That stops today.

I simply asked to purchase some of their sauce separately—something I’ve done before with no issue. I wasn’t asking for it for free. The manager, however, was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I explained I had bought the sauce on its own in the past and had driven over an hour to get there, she flat-out said, “I can’t help you,” and attempted to show me on the menu where it supposedly says you can’t buy sauce without purchasing seafood. Spoiler: it doesn’t say that anywhere. It literally just says there’s a limit one how MANY you can buy.

She then made the excuse that they’re a franchise, as if that explained her refusal. Funny, because Wingstop is a franchise too—and they’re more than happy to sell you sauce or seasoning à la carte, as long as you’re paying for it.

It wasn’t just the denial—it was the attitude and tone she used. Completely unprofessional and unnecessarily rude. After being a loyal customer for over a decade, this was beyond disappointing. Neither I, nor my family or friends, will be returning. And yes, I will be sharing this experience on my social platforms as well.

Oh—and I ended up making the sauce myself at home. Tasted just as good if not better. So was the attitude really worth it?

Do better. 💋

This was a solid experience, but had its ups and downs. I had a dozen oysters which were not very cold and not tasty at all, they were quite muddy. It was disappointing. I also had the king crab which was good but the sausage was actually better. I got the kickin' crab sauce and loved it with the sausage. My daughter had had on shrimp and I tried one and it was good, but nothing to really write home about. We only got water to drink, I don't even know if they had alcoholic beverages, but it was hard to get our water glasses refilled. The food came out quickly but that's kind of the end of seeing anybody to help us without trying to grab somebody walking by.

We found The Kickin’ Crab in Carrollton right before moving around the corner, and honestly, it was a great find. The food was amazing and the combos were priced really well. We ordered 3 pounds of headless shrimp with corn and potatoes. We had to substitute the sausage since we keep it halal, and they were cool about it.

The garlic noodles were really good—definitely full of flavor—but to be honest, $15 just for noodles felt a bit much. We also got an order of fries (they use the thinner kind), and a catfish basket which was solid too.

It was a little loud inside, but the service was fast and really friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, especially for a big family. We went with medium spice and it was just right—not too much, not too little.

Would definitely go back again

I come here all the time and their food is borderline addicting, however the service isn't. They skimp out on portions of shrimp and sauce and if you confront them about it they will give you attitude that makes you wish you never gave them your money to begin with. I asked them for a little more sauce (I've been here tons of times to know how much they usually put) and was told that they can't do anything to help me and that it's the chefs fault. As someone who worked in the seafood restaurant industry, if they cared at all about the people giving them their money they would have found a way to help.
