I don’t know what these review people are eating. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all terrible. I saw on the reviews that the mango habanero wings were good. Tried them, they have a terrible smell! Like they’ve gone bad? There is something wrong with the oil. Everything fried has a rancid oil flavor. Even just chips and salsa, the chips have a taste like the oil is old? Do they fry the chips? Idk, they just taste so bad. Please fix the food 🙏 I’m forced to come on game days 😄. Would love to be able to eat the food.

Terrible experience i have hosted karaoke events for a friend of mine for over 3 years here .. tonight i picked up a puppy and a girl was threatening towards me i made my friends aware of the situation and they had my back and i was threatened by the bar tenders after basically making their wages for the past couple years on a Tuesday because they decided to take the side of a random patron vs a regular and i didn’t even even physically do anything… unfortunately their tips and their karaoke DJ will suffer from this experience for me

Good was great. Very slow just after opening and the services was a little slow. Bartender was more focused with supervisor at the end of the bar. I would still recommend The Maverick as a must go to spot!!

Terrible smelly bar that seems it’s still the 90’s and it’s appropriate to charge money to be given the opportunity to step inside this strip mall establishment .
we left because we couldn't' ear each other, plus was hot inside AC doesn't work , The Band was Loud too loud, mediocre singing and musician not what I expected for $10 cover charge per person plus 2 drinks we spend in trash $40 for 30 minutes , we left could take it anymore , i have better wine at my home stereo and music , ...... The ambient was wrong set up , Table lot of tables everywhere ,most of the chairs around are broken I can find better chair at a thrift store LOL I the band stage sinking on the floor could not see the dance floor .... Not really a place for a couple or a date , we never comeback again .Solutions: Buy new chairs, Hire a better band, fix the AC, fix the fans , serve better wine, and tell the Young lady at front to greet the guests when they leave ., she was on phone testing not even to say hello Thank you , GOODBYE,

I do recommend the mango habernero wings and rings. The wings were meaty with the right amount of heat, and the rings were perfection! We were there on Wednesday night listening to open mic live music. Friendly patrons, fun crowd.
