Food is excellent. However service is poor. You can't alter any menu items or sample any of the food. Simply Order a #1! And take what you can get - which is very delicious by itself!

I have been eating at this restaurant for about three years; but I think that when the chicken in the order changes owners. #1 too burnt, looks like burnt pork rinds
For order #2 I had always eaten the spicy order, but I think the cooks changed and now it is too much (it is impossible to eat it anymore)
Thank you, I will stop eating at that place that I used to like so much. !!!

Update: 2024 and you can tell there has either been a change in ownership, staff or culture. My chicken over the past 10 times or so has been really dry. Combine that with the fact that I get the spicy teriyaki yet my chicken has NO teriyaki sauce just make this really bad and extra dry. The chili sauce they use has also changed and is not as good IMO and they have not been able to get back to the older more flavorful sauce. I've given it about ten tries before I decided to update my review to see if they would be able to change my mind yet they did not. This is after Kim one of the owners retired. it seems she used to be their quality control stop gap and well the quality certainly is not what it used to be..... at all.Been coming here for over ten years now! Still the best teriyaki in the DFW period. I only wish they'd open one near my house!Update: 2021 getting past the pandemic and Still the best in DFW! If you haven't tried it yet you need to go... you will not regret it! #2 Double Rice + and extra hot sauce! THE BEST!

Food was good. Building was a bit warm to enjoy sitting there to eat. Trash cans inside showed signs of food decay like they never get cleaned.

GREATEST. TERIYAKI. EVER. And friend, they know it. They are so good they only have to be open for lunch. It's incredible. I am in love with this place. If I have the money, I would beg them to let me franchise this place. It is too good. You could open up one of these anywhere in America and it would just crush it.
When I was young, and I only had a bike, I worked in a warehouse about 2 miles from here. Even in the Texas summer I was happy to make the ride here at least twice a week for lunch. I still try to stop here if I am ever anywhere nearby at lunch.
Seriously, this might be my favorite restaurant of all time. Thank you so much for being a wonderful part of my life and the community for all these years. I really appreciate all the effort that went into those experiences you made for me.

After many years due to moving away from the area, finally made my way back to this great spot. Nothing has changed. Simple menu. Great food which always hits the spot. Just be aware of the hours and days they are open.

Really only open for lunch Monday to Friday until 3 pm so a nearby work break spot. And a dang good option too. Old school looking restaurant but that’s how you know it’s legit. Simple menu, which was a plus for me. As soon as I ordered the guy in the back brought out a container of raw meat so you know it’s fresh. From ordering to cooking and to be ready was only about 3 to 4 minutes. It’s a good amount of food for the price you’re paying and it tasted delicious as well. I will definitely make this one of my regular locations to visit for lunch.

If you know, you know. Hot spot for local contractors. Any plate, double rice, extra soy sauce. Just do it.
Parking: Park in the middle of the lot like everyone else. Gotta do what you gotta do.
