Volcano Hot Pot Carrollton

Used to be great. Meat quality has gone downhill, seems like they are constantly understaffed (no fault of the servers) and now they are adding poorly made sushi to the conveyor belt.

A. I'm not going to a hot pot place to get sushi.

B. Since the veggies and non-meat items are only available on the conveyor belt, you have to wait even longer to hope something you want comes down the conveyor belt.

C. The sushi looks pretty low quality, and it's just sitting on the conveyor belt, uncovered so anyone could grab on it, cough on it, and not sure they are rotating the items fast enough.

Been here a few times and enjoy the selection and self served bar 10/10. The revolving belt with veggies and noddles has a good selection. Staff is Very attentive and helpful I love our server she has served us each time we go!

The overall experience of this place was nice. I loved the idea of the conveyor belt, BBQ, and hotpot all in one place. The service was quick and fast and whenever we had dirty plates on the table it was gone in a second.

Though, the selection of food was limited and there was not much variety of seafood and meat, but still there was enough to make you full.

The bathroom experience was... not very pleasant it smelled horrifyingly disgusting to the point I’ve lost my appetite. (Yes it is that bad)

In conclusion to my review, this place was OK, there wasn’t any wow-factor to it. It was fun and kid-friendly but, the food selection is just like what other hotpot places have. They have a lot of potential in this restaurant and if they changed the selection of food and put in more effort into the place, I would come back for sure.

At first, the staff never told us that the children cost $14.99

The staff has never measured my daughter but said it was 4.5feet

My child has never received any hot pot for $14.99

The bill clearly states that it is 4.5 feet for $14.99 but my child is not even 4 feet.

This restaurant is in fraudulent business, so everyone should be vigilant

This is our family's favorite hotspot hangout. They are so nice here with great service. They accommodate us and our large groups every single time. This is a great experience from the belt to the food and atmosphere, the music and movies We have a good time every time. Even my 4 yr old eats a minimum of 3 rounds before grabbing a plate of fruit and desert and feeling complete.

My husband and I love having hot pot together. We stumbled upon this place and thought we’d give it a go. It wasn’t crowded at all and just a few patrons on a weekday evening. We were so glad it wasn’t loud or noisy at all and that we can carry on a conversation. The cool part is definitely the conveyor belt that carried a plethora of veggies and items you would want with your meal. The items are covered in plastic wrap so it’s hygienic and you only grab what you want. Bean curd is a must for us with hot pot!

Upon being seated, we were handed a menu and chose a soup base. They have a quite a few options, but our go-to is the tomato soup base. It’s like tomato soup without the thick, heavy cream. It’s also pretty cool that you get your own little “hot pot” so I don’t have to share with my husband. 🤭 The meats and other items are out in the open for you to grab when you want and how much you want. However, be mindful to only take what you can eat. This place also does Korean bbq if you wanted to do that in tandem with hot pot or to just do whichever you prefer. Our waitress was super friendly, and they collect your empty dishes on your table which is really nice. Overall, a yummy experience!

Best hot pot I've tried in DFW! The selection of food and sides are great and I like that you can choose between kbbq or hot pot for $32.99-$34.99. Each time I got to the Korean spa across the street I love coming here each time I'm in the area. They're many options in this plaza itself all delicious but this spot was the best personally. The service is lovely as well. Can't wait to go back more often!

Called in saying we had six people, when we get here the manager won’t allow us to sit with six because we have two children under 2.

The manager argued with me the whole time stating I said 5 people, not 6, and the only solution was to place them in the walk way with an upside down high chair.

Manager could care less about people if they weren’t being charged (her words). I won’t try this place again if this is the level of service that can be expected

I was so impressed with EVERYTHING here! The hotpot soup broths are great, they have the BEST bulgogi beef I've ever had, and our service was amazing. We never ran low on water or soup broth because our server was on top of it the entire time. We'll definitely be back!
