Is this placed closed? Came. By on a Friday at 9pm and it says they're open until midnight. Closed.

Ordered from here throw Chownow but although the order was accepted the restaurant is no longer there.

Creatively deliciousWent here to celebrate a friend's birthday and was pleasantly surprised with every role we ordered. Each was uniquely designed and full of flavor.

So good! Got the curry katsu with chicken and it was delicious. Very filling too. Server was super sweet and they had some nice music on! Definitely give them a try when in Carrollton!

A big caveat before the rest of the review; the waiter here was super awesome and did what he could to make us feel comfortable. And I try to give the benefit of the doubt when I go to most restaurants, but I'm sorry to say that eating here had to be one of the worst food experiences I've had. We wanted some sushi, a soup, and some wine, so that's what we ordered. First, we ordered the plum wine. And maybe it's because it was our first time, but man, was that wine too sweet. It literally tasted like someone had taken orange juice concentrate or margarita mix and didn't add the requisite amount of anything else. We had to mix it with a bottle of Dos Equis, and to its credit, it was pretty decent. Then the tempura udon came out. And usually with tempura udon, we expect like a shrimp tempura, some sweet potato tempura, and maybe a calamari or zucchini tempura. But this only had two small shrimp tempuras. And the soup was so salty! A good udon has a nice smooth broth and chewy, white noodles. The noodles here were completely dark and tasted like soy sauce. The noodles. It had a nice poached egg, but we couldn't get over how salty it was. We ordered the Sushi and Sashimi combo for $60, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The best part about the sushi was the nori on the maki, which isn't a huge compliment. The specialty rolls were decent, but were covered in this weird cream cheese sauce that just ruined them. Maybe that's just my preference, but every single roll - if it had sauce - had this flavor and texture. I guess this is great if you love Philadelphia rolls, but I couldn't fathom why they decided to do this to some decent rolls. I really do want to like this restaurant. Carrollton K-Town is just filled with expensive sushi places where the serving staff look like they don't want to be there. But I can't recommend this place in good conscience. The fish is fresh, but it's the same three fish for every single thing they put out: tilapia, fatty tuna, and salmon. Just not worth the nearly $100 ticket we paid. Maybe we'd have better luck with the Chinese part of the menu, but for a Japanese restaurant, that's hardly any consolation.

Good sushi, everything was tasty! Would definitely go back, EXCEPT, parking is a beast and virtually impossible. It's unfortunate because this cute shop is in the middle of just parking chaos

The food is good but for the second time they didn't send utensils to me at my hotel. I specifically asked for utensils within the app and they consistently failed to send any? Are chop sticks that expensive???

This place is outstanding! I recently found this spot, and I've been thoroughly impressed each time I visit. First time, I got it to go, and the containers were all made from sustainable materials and were even a little bit fancy and decorative. I've used them since to transport a few meals, even after running them through the dishwasher. They have more variety in sake than just about any other place I've gone, and the hostess is knowledgeable about the different brands and types. Now, finally the food. Highly recommend monkey brains (not literal brains), the Ahi Tower and honestly, all the sashimi is good. It's a very small place, but not crowded (for now, October 2022). Recommended for your next intimate dinner out, and I'll be going back whenever I can afford it.Dietary restrictions: The food is cooked alongside other foods, but due to the nature of sushi/sashimi, most of the ingredients are very visible.

Everything here was delicious. The sushi and the ramen were amazing. There 2as a wait on the ramen but it was worth it.

This is literally a small hole in the wall restaurant. When you walk in, this place is super unassuming and a little disorganized at the front. We decided to give it a try because everywhere else had a long wait. The skewers were good (we tried the chicken, pork, mushroom, and pepper). The soup dumplings were not great and were too doughy. The sashimi was probably my favorite and it was so fresh! The fried rice was pretty good too! The rolls we got were good but nothing too crazy. We got some sake but our sever was pretty unhelpful and she really couldn’t give much recommendations. Overall a good experience, but I’m not sure if I would come back.

Looks very unassuming but has the best reasonably priced sushi in the area! Staff is very friendly and the cuisine is very authentic.

I don't understand all the five star ratings. I have frequented a lot of the Asian places around Carrollton and this was one of the worst. The dumplings we ordered were water logged and some of the worst Ive had. The hibachi tasted bland and like the fried rice had been microwaved. The sauce tasted like something from a plastic packet like you'd get in a bag out of a freezer. The scallops tasted like metal from the grill (like iron or something). The spicy ramen - the broth and noodles were okay and nothing special, but the pork that came with it was very tough.I suspect this restaurant is trying to be too many things and taking shortcuts in doing so. The bill for those three items was over 60 dollars not counting tip - you think the food would have been better quality. The waitress was friendly and very attentive, but the food was so underwhelming I have to give them a 1 star. Especially with all the suspicious five stars raving about the food.

This place doesn't look like much when you walk by, kind of a hole in the wall compared the the bigger restaurants near it but don't let it's appearance fool you it's crazy good. We got the hibachi steak and the spicy tonkotsu and both were stellar! The meat was perfectly cooked. We also tried the chicken and green onion yakitori and it was phenomenal. 10/10 highly recommended.

Wa Natsu is a yummy hole in the wall! First things first, get the skewers - just do it. I took the advise on getting the fried rice and honestly THE BEST fried rice I have ever had. Also got the Sugar Daddy roll - HUGE roll, fresh fish, the presentation was amazing and it tasted amazing. The price of our whole meal was inexpensive and the quality of the food was amazing. PS. Our waitress was so sweet!!!

I was extremely disappointed with their sushi. The rice was dry like overnight leftover sushi rice. Sigh! Even the ready made sushi at Sam's Club tasted 10 times better than this.
