Great people, always happy to serve up outstanding food and drinks! They have a great selection of beers with a few Seasonal's that make not want to wait till next season when the run out! For non drinkers they have a tasty root beer that they make in house and the lemonade is fresh squeezed, made with love!
Pops Kitchen is always serving up great food to go with the drinks! I’ve never had anything that I didn’t Thoroughly enjoy. Everything is open seating, so when it’s crowded and they may only have a few seats left, go sit with someone you don’t know and make a friend, I can almost guarantee you no one there would mind you sitting with them! It makes for a great atmosphere… that’s what it’s all about! Go have food, drinks, with great service and make a new friend!

Had a great lunch today. Cheeseburger was delicious and the mac and cheese bites were outstanding!! Sad we don't live closer so we could visit more often. Great environment and very friendly service.

Everybody needs to go to grind and Grain Beverage Company. The food was delicious, the beer was cold, and the staff was awesome. We had shrimp p- boys and several appetizers. We had a great time there. We will go back every time we come in to town.

I finally stopped by Grind and Grain today.
They're located just off the town square next to The Esquire Theater and across the street from The Violet Shop.
I'm not exaggerating when I say I've been aching to check them out for about six months now and today was the day!!
I had a flight, a Cuban sandwich and sampled a few wines.
Their IPA and Porter were my favorite brews.
I took home a bottle of their Pinot Noir as well.
I found it to be a young, fruity, and very drinkable wine. I'm actually holding onto my bottle for a while just to see how it matures.
Also, the Cuban sandwich from Pop's kitchen really hit the spot, the perfect bite.
Their location, atmosphere, food and brews are on point. Compared to some of the better independent taprooms I've been to in major cities, G&G checks all the boxes☑️.
So, all in all this place is a gem and I highly recommend stopping by.
Grind & Grain is without a doubt a big feather in Carthage's cap and I can't wait to see how much of a community hub they become, because they're already well on their way.
Cheers!!?

Celebrated our 30th anniversary there w friends & family & had a great time!! So nice to have a restaurant like this Carthage. Loved the fried pickles & fried green beans. Enjoyed being able to get flights so we could try their various beers & wines too. Will definitely be back.

Grind and Grain is a remarkable gem in our community, offering a much-needed culinary escape. Typically, we venture far from Carthage in search of exceptional food, good beer, and fine wine. We often share stories with friends, recounting experiences that border on legendary, especially when we encounter a truly outstanding establishment like Grind and Grain.Although we had intended to visit Grind and Grain for some time, our busy lives have always interfered. Juggling work, school, and other commitments leaves little time for dining out, and we've grown accustomed to the mediocre offerings in our area. Tonight, our meal in the C was profoundly different. If you have doubts about finding superb food and drinks at a reasonable price in Carthage, Grind and Grain will dispel them. This place redefines dining in Carthage and East Texas as a whole, and I believe it will leave a lasting impact on our town's culinary culture. I sincerely hope they will continue to endeavor to challenge the predominant perceptions inherent in a city resistant to change, and I challenge anyone reading this to do the same by supporting this diamond in the rough.
