We came to carthage for a mini getaway and took a stroll around the square. Walking into Sunflower Mercantile was so refreshing. The owners were SO friendly. We got ice cream which was delicious. The store was so neat. There was something there for everybody. If you're looking for a gift for someone or a cool shop, DEFINITELY stop in here. We will be coming back to Carthage just to visit this shop again!

We stopped in here after a less than welcoming experience at a store nearby (I'll never go back to that store). We were immediately greeted by an older gentleman that seemed genuinely happy to see us. We chatted with him a bit before making laps around the store and picking up multiple items to purchase, all of which were well priced and of good quality. We will definitely stop by here the next time we are in the area.

The sweetest people and willing to do anything for their customers!! I was in desperate need for some Rowe Casa products and they didn't open until 11, but she met me there an hour before opening on a Saturday so I could get the products! They have so many cute things in store! They are some of the sweetest souls on the square. Carthage is blessed to have them!!

Went in for a quick bite and instantly felt welcomed. We had the grilled ham and cheese with tomato basil soup. It was perfect! The potato soup was great too. But what really stole the show was the ice cream cones and overall cute shop. Definitely will find some unique items.
