The name of the restaurant is Juliana’s and is in front of the Alsatian golf course. We ate on the patio so we could bring our dog with us. The food was exceptional and plentiful. We had the fried brussel sprouts and Buffalo sauce cauliflower for veggies. I had the pecan crusted catfish and we had nachos. Everything was super delicious and cooked perfectly. The wait staff were very friendly also.

No longer exists even though the menu is still online. Really liked it when it was open years ago. Just wanted some sauerkraut.

Owner is extremely unprofessional. So glad this place is closed down.

Ultimate Disappointment. I'm now eating a burger instead of steak and lobster for my valentines dinner because of the extreme incompetence of the wait staff at this restaurant. My fiance and I are on a road trip to Garner state park and were looking for somewhere nice to stop for our Valentines dinner. This restaurant popped up on google and had amazing reviews. The food looked wonderful so we stopped. Great first impression, we got to BYOB and were excited about that. The waiter brought out bread and promised salads and then said the chef would be out soon to take our orders. 30 mins later, no salads and the chef finally comes out. He seems wonderful and genuinely excited about his food, so we decide what we want and he says that the waitress will then be by to write down what we want. An hour goes by. We have been talking and enjoying ourselves thinking any minute our food will be out. We see our neighboring table get their salads so we ask about ours? Then they bring it. Again our neighboring table gets their food and finishes it after having arrived thirty minutes after us and we still don't have our food. Finally we are fed up because we have to make the last hour and 15 min drive before they lock the gates on us for the night so we ask the waiter what's the deal. They completely forgot about us and just flat out never put in our order. We waited an hour and 45 minutes. While they forgot about us. So we left. Never got to eat the amazing food, didn't get to enjoy our valentines dinner. We instead stopped Billy Bobs Hamburgers to eat a quick bite where they got our order completely right and our food to us in under 5 mins. This restaurant was the biggest disappointment I've experienced in a long time. I can't tell you how happy and excited I was about this adorable valentines day dinner find that I thought this was and how exceedingly disappointed I was by the outcome.

Fabio's place is always filled with good food and great friends, and the ambience is top rate across the board.

We had the best dinner there! The chef greeted us and treated us like royalty. We had pasta with shrimp (my husband) and pasta with veggies (for me). I’m vegetarian and loved every bit of it. Music was romantic, the building is historic, food was amazing and we can’t wait to go back.

The stars are based on previous experiences. Last October, the restaurant was apparently closed for a while, and all we got when we called was a message that says that the person we are calling can't take our call. Then, the restaurant was open again. We went and really enjoyed the food, especially the chicken with mushrooms. No menu, however. Now, it is apparently closed again. When we call, we get a message that says that the person we are calling can't take our call (?) So much for a Valentines Day reservation.

If you are looking for a hidden gem and an incredible unique meal, this is the place! The staff is so polite and attentive. Favio, the owner and chef is one of a kind. Instead of menus, Favio came to our table and asked us what we wanted to eat and cooked us a meal from scratch. Everything was so fresh and flavorful! He sent out an appetizer of seared mushrooms on the house, and homemade cheesecake after our meal. Then, Favio gave us a personal tour of the old historic building and the grounds. It was truly a one of a kind experience and meal. He even let us pick lemons from the trees to take home. I can’t recommend this place enough!! We will be coming back often and bringing everyone we know!

We arrived at 650 PM on a Saturday night. After waiting an hour and half for our food our poor waiter was sent to our table to tell us the chef was not going to fix any more food . We left without eating. We were in Castroville

The food and service are great. We are on our 3rd visit. Got fried mushrooms app and the breading was light- yummy. Love the Jaeger schnitzel, they have a red and white sauce option but I stuck with the "hunter's sauce " it is divine. Peach cobbler finished us off. Welcome to Spring Branch, we will be back.

Wife and me went, to the new One in Spring Branch, got mushrooms $11 for 6-7 mushrooms and Ranch Dressing, where oily. Both got the New Orleans catfish, over cooked and no spice. Made review and they replied sorry come back and try again, spent $64 for . The Spring Branch one charges almost double in price for a meal, they also add 5% to bill if using card, told them I’ll come back if they pay , no response. Was told by staff there that it was same family
