“Just tried this place for the first time today. Wow, is all that comes to mind. I hate it took me this long to find out about this place. Really great craft beer. I would suggest the Dunkel. My wife had a mimosa she said was good. The server was great, great descriptions and the food did not disappoint at all. The beer dip was phenomenal. Also the Reuben.. Soo good! Very hard to find a good Reuben anymore these days but this place nailed it. The presentation and layers of the sandwich were unreal. I showed my buddy how perfect the sandwich looked and my wife caught me showing him and made fun of me later for it haha. The only issue I had at all was I forgot to take a picture of the sandwich.. so sad. It looked like something out of a professional food photography session. Can’t wait to go again. Hopefully this coming Saturday for live music and I won’t forget the Reuben pic this time. Check it out!”
“This is a serious hidden gem in Castroville. Lots of code options and even better, lots of sugar free options. I always stop here when I'm in castroville.”
“When we decided to drive our old vehicles into Castroville, TX, this was not our actual stop. We found this place by accident. The atmosphere has a mixture of country, rock, and cuisine. The food is simple but not simple. Although it's not a place you'd expect to eat dinner, the food was very filling. Loved the music the vibe, the cleanliness, and the service of this place. I plan on stopping by next time when they have live music. This place is a must try and as always you make your own judgment as for me I'll be back for sure.”
“The tacos served by Tony's are exceptionally delicious and are well worth the purchase. Additionally, the quality of service provided by Tony is exemplary, as is the welcoming atmosphere created by the establishment. Overall, Tony's appears to be a highly recommended destination for those seeking a delicious taco experience.”
“We have been twice in the last month. It is beautiful inside and out. The food is absolutely amazing. The brisket literally melts in your mouth. The corn is the best that I've ever tasted. The service is always quick and professional. We can't wait to go back and try the bakery!”
“Stopped in after smelling the smoke and was not disappointed! This isn't your fancy, overpriced BBQ spot, it's the real deal. Small menu, but everything was delicious! Had their two meat plate (brisket and sausage). It came with pickles, onions, a jalapeno, potato salad, beans and two pieces of bread.Service was great, she even threw in an extra sausage link!Brisket had amazing smoke flavor with a perfect barkSausage was delicious, I believe it was homemade... Great flavorPotato salad was really, REALLY good. I usually have to add salt and pepper to mine but this was perfect.BBQ sauce was delicious and again, I believe homemade.”
“Great place! Definitely a stop if you have an RV as they are in the Harvest Host program. The wine tasting is a fantastic value and the wines are some of the best Texas wines we've tried. Service is friendly, knowledgeable, and top notch.”
“My 2 daughters and i dined in and the food was excellent. Great service and atmosphere. I will definetely will go back to try different things on the menu. Great job Chef!! Will share my experience with my friends and family. Thanks ”
“The food was wonderful, delicious and fresh. The lasagna was so flavorful. Their pork schnitzel was so tender. The restaurant is beautiful and so relaxing. They have a patio/ bar restaurant that is nice and inviting with music as well. The service was great. The ladies who served us were so sweet. Can’t wait to go back, theres also plenty of parking and if you wanted to take a walk there is a historic walking path in the streets behind the restaurant.”
“The food was amazing, beautiful older building, and the service was good. They treated us like outsiders, even though I live, right down the street. Other than the cold attitude, the food was fairly priced and delicious.”
“We have been to Luigi's in Castroville many times since moving to the far west end of San Antonio. We always get amazing food and have not found any dishes yet we were not thrilled with. Highly recommend this little gem if you are looking for some delicious Italian food!”
“Everything is pretty good but they are slacking on their bean and cheese they use that cheap American squareIf they would use real cheddar cheese I would rate them 5 ⭐”
“Great little restaurant. I've been driving by for years and am very glad I made time to stop. Tortillas were perfect, staff was great, best beans I've had in awhile, and great price.”
“They make a great steak and egg, The salsa is delicious with the right amount of pica. They also make an excellent carne asada taco with avocado. Good tea, and they sell beer now.Parking: There is usually a place to park. However, during peak hours, it could be crowded”
“The Chef is AMAZING, the food is delicious, the service is awesome and I just love everything about this place. But seriously, may not look fancy outside or inside but the food is definitely 5 star. Worth it for sure!”
