“I want to give Carolyn Casey LaCour a shout out for being so awesome. We went to the Apple Store the other day and bought some things. Then walked out and saw a really cute painted rock, went back inside to pay for the rock. I got home and didn’t have the other stuff I bought. I just left it sitting somewhere. Carolyn did some research found me and messaged me that she had the stuff and would be mailing it to me. She’s amazing. It is so refreshing now days for honest thoughtful people ❤️”

“Oh my, we have been wanting to check this place out after reading many posts on SA Restaurant fb site and boy were we in for a undeniable treat …. We were greeted by one of the two owners, “Heather” the wife, to be specific , and she was just a pleasure and a joy to listen to , very welcoming and presented a couple of specialty options, we had already scanned over the menu before arriving, we had decided on a classic pizza with meats and veggies , but being foodies and prior restauranteurs( specifically Hippie Chic’s River Shack / Hippies & Hops , in Concan, Tx.) we appreciate chefs and restaurant owners that push the envelope , think and create outside the box , we chose one of the new specials “The Sweet Southern Heat” topped with bacon, crumbled cornbread, jalapenos, mozzarella,dollops of house-made pimento cheese, and drizzled with hot honey , and oh, my-my! Soooo goood !!! Also split a greek salad ( so fresh and crisp) and the bread that everyone talks about with warm marinara sauce , & perfectly paired everything with a amazingly cold Hazy IPA. The service was spot on & the staff -joy filled!!! The other half , Co-owner, Justin ( husband of Heather)whom we were able to have a nice visit with made sure our food was timed and delivered perfectly, crust spot on crisp and perfect amounts of toppings. You gotta try this place out, you wont regret it!!! Oh and before you leave, grab a pint of their house-made gelato ( also expertly crafted)”

“My wife and I, along with a friend, visited The Yard today. My wife and our friend had the burgers and I had the blue cheese burger. The food was great and the blue cheese burger - I don’t believe there’s a burger like it in San Antonio that can beat it. The blue cheese wasn’t overpowering any other tastes and seemed to complement the rest of the burger well. The fries were delicious. Drinks were great. It’s a little dark in here as far as lighting - we arrived around 6:30 PM in July so there plenty of light coming in from outside but no interior table lighting that I could notice.

It is very worth the trip to go here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Enjoy!”

“I stopped by Big A’s Tacos and tried the carne guisada — absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell it’s made with care and authentic flavors. The portion was generous, and the overall experience left me wanting to come back and try more from the menu. If you're a fan of hearty, home-style Mexican food, Big A’s is definitely worth a visit. 10/10 Highly recommend!”

“So I went to Mi Tierra Jalisco and ordered their special of 3 tacos, that all must be the same. Which is no big deal because I love potato and egg tacos. Another plus is that they do have Mexican Coke there, which I thoroughly enjoy with my meals. When my tacos arrived at my table, they all were filled about halfway. Now I understand if you're getting the special sure they might skim save a little money but this was way more than just skimping. I could have cut the taco in half and put it all in one side for all three. So I was greatly disappointed in the amount that was put in the tacos. I left hungry. So if you're looking to get full off three tacos avoid this place. They are very stingy on how full they fill their tacos. The tacos did taste good however but not worth a half a taco.”

You will taste the love cooked into your meal. the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. from suits to bikinis you'll find an eclectic mix of every type of people which I personally LOVE because people are amazing! the care and attention put into keeping the guests happy and satisfied and smiling, makes repeat visits a definite. I LOVE this place. I will be back again and again”
