“Stopped and got 2 Sandwich plates to go. Got them home and was so pleased. The sandwich was heaped with sliced brisket. The meat was moist and tender. The potato salad was very good. They didn't forget a single thing. We had plastic ware, napkins, BBQ sauce, pickles and onions. Kudo's to Heavy 's. The price was good also. Less than $28.00 for 2.”

“When I was a young kid, my parents took me to a place called Gino's pizza, every week on Friday. The pizza was so good, like, I've never tasted anything as good as them since.Until Pepe's pizza.You can smell the fresh ingredients walking in. The pizza dough smell is so divine. I knew by the smell alone I was not going to be disappointed. But it was better than that, the pizza brought back all my childhood memories of eating with my parents.The owners were extremely friendly and we will be returning time and time again. And their prices are really reasonable for comparable chain brands in the area, but you get such better quality pizza, you should just go with Pepe's.So if you are in the Hondo area, stop by Pepe's.”

“Nice little local spot! Ambience is just okay....a little Italian with some Texan thrown in. Service ...good! Seated quickly and our drinks were kept full! Food...good, nothing great, but good! Pizza is good, crispy crust with ample toppings. Pasta is pretty good. Garlic bread is good, but ask for the GOB (garlic, oil, basil) to dip! Really good! All in all, good for a small town.”

“Stopped here the end of January. It was wonderful. Good food, waitstaff were attentive and pleasant. It was great value, large dinner and it was fresh. I would eat here again the next time I come to Hondo.”

“Had the miga plate and was great. Added cheese and pico and was cooked to perfection. The beans and potatoes did need some salt but that's very much a personal preference and can be added to your liking.”

“Steak was perfect. It was better than Texas Roadhouse. The baked potato was hard and cold though. Great dining experience otherwise. I'd recommend for steak lovers. I'd love to try the filet mignon, but $30 is a bit overpriced to me.”

“This whataburger location is great! The service was fast and friendly, and the food came out hot and delicious. I have dined in and have also been through the drivethru. All of my experiences were similar, which is amazing when it comes to fast food restaurants. I will definitely be coming back. I have recommended this location to both family and friends.Parking: The parking lot is quite small and can be difficult to park in or get out of if the drive-thru becomes busy. The street next to it doesn't have through traffic so you can park on the side of the street if the parking lot isn't accessible.Kid-friendliness: The kids' menu is awesome! They have a nice selection for the younger picky eaters. I also like the healthy options for sides and drinks.Wheelchair accessibility: Inside the restaurant, they have handicap accessible tables and restrooms.”

“The Ultimate Supreme and the Bestest Pepperoni were made with lots of love and perfection at this Hondo Texas Little Caesar stop on Highway 90W. They also have a Drive Up Window for those customers on the Go. Excellent prices and always check for seasoned specials and coupons.”

“Nice! Two parking lots, easy access. Friendly greeting, quickly seated, nice decor. Nothing fancy here, just good food! The chips were so good and the freshly made salsa was even better. His beef quesadilla was good-sized with sides of beans and rice and homemade guacamole (so good!). My shrimps tacos were full of bite-sized shrimp - shrimp in every bite!My only complaint is that they don’t have a full bar…..soda is served from the can with a glass of ice. Some beer and only frozen margaritas.But, the food is so good, we will return just for that!”

This time I went was a few days ago there was a young gentleman named Albert he was very respectful and made a nice sandwich for meee. It was the best sandwich I've ever eaten from there. And the best customer service I've gotten in a while.”

“The food was good. Salt, however, was the dominant seasoning in the flavor. I will say, though, this place is better than most Mexican restaurants I've tried in San Antonio. I enjoy and appreciate that everything is homemade right down to the chips and salsa, and the other salsas they offered. Their menu is small, but reasonably priced. There is room for improvement, but I would still come here again.”
