Also any family owned business that reaches 15yr shy of half of a century and renains reputable also expanding ....Shows consistent qualities in the owners, and immensely reflects in their food and compassion for their communities. The menu variety is stellar.....MOST "good" food joints sell out like most businesses do when the passion is gone. bc money will always be there but the experience, and time spent is priceless .....also very telling.
When i can apease my picky eater, my cajun husband, and the rest of the family at one place stellar!! .where we can sit and relax cool off that is great for my time and money for sure. Whataburger in Texas first was known as the best burgers in town bc they were made to order ..... After they sold out to a company in Chicago.....oh man you could tell by the taste from the best to medioker...and i feel like im treated as if im bothering them if i ask for napkins oh that sucks. The last time I ate there was 7 years ago and wont go back bc i think of how much they just went down hill.
So im STOKED we found 😌 Billy Bob's burgers 🍔. Money and time well spent.

Stopped by at Billy Bob’s Hamburgers in Uvalde on our way back home, The food was amazing the burgers were delicious & the fries were freshly made, the cashier Elsa .C. Was very friendly & helpful being our first time stopping by. I would definitely recommend this place & for sure be returning ☺️

Billy bobs is one of the best burgers I have ever had. Everything was hot, fresh and made to order. My egg was cooked perfectly. My wife and son loved their food as well. The restaurant was very clean and the staff super friendly.
Dry burger. Way overcooked and way overpriced. Could get the same or better quality from McDonald’s or Burger King. What a waste of money. Acoustics are bad. The Tile floor makes for a loud environment. Gave two stars cuz the fries were hot. Otherwise 1 star. I dont know. About average price gouging for the current times. Everyone does it nowadays. I would have walked directly out without ordering if my pops wasnt with me. Poor guy had to suffer through the fish basket. He’s old school and just takes what he’s given. Overall a huge disappointment. But what do you expect? A five star burger joint in a dumpy village like castroville tx? I expected less. Therefore 2 stars. At least they were kind enough to give me a slice of cheese for a dollar. And ranch for another. Top notch. On the bottom rung. Keep up the below average work. I won’t be back.
Very disappointed! Paid $9.49 for a chicken BLT sandwich. The first several bits were tasty, then I bit into a large piece of fat. This is what I found when I opened the sandwich. Who would serve such large pieces of fat on a sandwich??? We eat at Billy Bobs often and I’ve never experienced this. ☹️

The gal at the register was weirdly rude when handing me my order. I've never been here before and I barely even spoke except to let them know which order was mine. I quietly just sat on my phone and waited for my food. So I have no idea where her weird aggression came from.
Fries were stale. Burger was good though. It's also very affordable.

After a long wait for food for a small group they messed up our order and didn’t make a meal. Asked for a discount for that 1 order and wouldn’t offer . Said it’s not in their policy. There was no apology or anything. Poor service will not be going back.
