I am telling you this place is a must have first off. The customer service is great. Second of all the coffee is delicious and I see why they call this place. The donut Palace, the fritter and the apple filled are my personal favorite.

They don’t call this place the donut Palace for no reason you hear me some of the best filled donuts I’ve ever had. I especially love the Apple one. Don’t get me started on what I like to call the baby donuts lol donut holes delicious. I’m not gonna lie if you’re looking for a good pick me up. Their coffee is on point with great customer service in the morning that lady is a doll. It’s a must have.

Havent been through there in a couple of years, but will mañana and can't pass up.
The chocolate covered glazed donuts are superb...
1. Chocolate is deep dark and smooth, Not gritty sugar...
2. Donut is full size and chewy, but cooked through - maybe due to gluten - sticks to your ribs. Not airy or just a bunch of sugar,
3. Polite, fast service,
4. Just one table if you want to eat there.

Yesterday 18 July made my usual stop going through Castroville to get my favorite sausage, egg and cheese croissants (2), small sausage kolash and chocolate milk.
Got home to find two sausage Kolkata not two croissants.
All put in one bag instead of separate bags.
Simply I have been stopping at the store since they opened years ago. The original Asian owners have not been around lately.
Service and product not the same now.

All the food was cold (like just pulled out of the fridge and thrown in the bag) minus this one sandwich that ended up burning my leg while holding the bag. I asked for vanilla coffee and got Mocha. The lady didn't even write anything down and still got everything wrong. It's not a great place for our first time going to this location, and we won't be back.

Hours on door indicate 430-1pm. Website indicates 430-3pm. Arrived at 12:10pm and was already closed. Fix your hours to reflect accordingly. Disappointing. Go to Haby’s Bakery down the road.

Had a beautiful welcome at the drive thru, such a friendly lady working it.
Glaze Donut is sweet and fluffy.
Pair the sweet donut with a nice warm cup of coffee, black of course. Coffee wasn’t bitter just tasted like the good stuff that I love 😄.
If you are feeling hungry pick up a sausage egg and cheese croissant.
These all together on a cold winter morning, makes for the perfect day. 😄😄😄

Staff is always friendly and the donuts are always fresh! My family and I love this family owned shop and have been going since they opened. They have a great selection, no matter what you choose I promise you will not be disappointed.
Parking: They also have a drive-through
Kid-friendliness: Super friendly and patient staff for the kiddos who don’t always know what donut to pick. They are all so delicious!
Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking with wheelchair accessible sidewalk.

I love donut palace and the owner. BUT the worker she has, idk her name but she's a tall white girl who's been there every weekend I've gone specifically on Saturday mornings, is rude! Every time I come to the window she just stands there and looks at me like she rather not be there. She's definitely not customer service friendly and not a people person at all.

We were passing through as we usually do and have never tried this donut palace before. We didn't have a big order but I was craving a lemon filled donut and my husband got something called a fruit kolache which was pretty much like a danish. We pulled up and didn't get greeted nicely, just like a oh hi what can I get for you. We both gave this place a 1 basically because his fruit kolache was hard (they could've asked if we'd like it warmed up) the cream cheese tasted off, so he didn't eat it at all. My lemon filled donut was NOT filled just had a small quarter sized dollop of lemon on top like what? Lol 😆 I honestly don't think we'd be trying this place again.
