Start to Finish...a great meal to enjoy! Salad had the ripest tomatoes I have ever seen! Rolls were perfect and pork chop was delightful. The desserts were yummy, as well.

Fantastic meal after our wedding. They set up our cake and champagne for us too. Hubby had the steak which was cooked to perfection and my roasted chicken was excellent - very juicy. Our waiter was fantastic and made our experience great!

Small but good menu, full bar. Intimate restaurant. All entrees are $19+ from what I remember. I got the salmon and it was great.

I’d give Carol’s a ZERO if I could. Not sure how this place stays in business with the experience we had last night. We arrived at 7:15 pm for our 7:15 pm reservation. Walked in....waited, waited and waited for someone to see us. Finally a man greeted us and took us to our table. As he was seating us, he informed us that they were OUT of All The ENTREEs except for the pork chop. Really? Disappointment #1.... Ok, we’ll have the pork chop. Next we are ready to order our salad. We were informed that they were out of croutons for the Caesar salad. Really? Disappointment #2....Ok, we’ll have the spring mix salad. Informed that they were out of bleu cheese but that they did have feta. Ok... feta it is. The waiter goes to the kitchen, then returns to us and says they are out of spring mix salad. Really? Disappointment #3....We asked the waiter what was going on. His BS reply was something like, “we can’t keep a lot of extra food around, and we had a lot of walk-ins yesterday.” How in the world do they think they can run a restaurant without an adequate food supply! This was the second time we had this same experience at Carol’s. What fools we were to believe things might have changed. Needless to say, we left and were so disappointed. We’ve learned our lesson. We will not return.

My husband and I went to Blisswood and Carol’s restaurant. The place is in the middle of nowhere and extremely charming. Staff is adorable, food is great (feels like at home). The wine is good too and the couple special menu has a very fair price.

First off, highly recommend making reservations. The food and decor is amazing, and its the perfect spot for a dinner for two. Prices are affordable, and food is delicious. My wife and I cleaned our plates. Wine list is good. Atmosphere inside is sophisticated country. Overall, I'm very glad we tried this place out. If you are in the area on a weekend, you should definitely make an effort to eat here.
