Absolute gem of a place that is frozen in time. We stopped in on a road trip to Houston and had a couple of beers. Not many places like this exist anymore. Resemblance of an old house/bar/tavern that still serves beer with a smile. The owners still work the bar and cook. They have beer signs and such from the 60’s and 70’s. We are here on a cold day and the heater in the middle of the bar looks like it’s from the 70’s and still cranking out heat. If you’re passing through...
Sheri and Bonnie were very accommodating. Mrs. Bonnie made is feel right at home like she's your owe grandmother. Sheri was a local gal with great conversation and told is a lot about the area we didn't know about and was very sweet. We look forward to lunch tommorow.
Worth the Trip out to the Cat Spring area!! Friday Fish-Fry DinDin Parking is easy!! Country type Bar / Cafe (only sell Burgers during the week & some other specials as well). But Friday Nights are for the Fish / Hush Puppy / Cold Slaw / Fries All You Can Eat Try it
