What a “Jewel” this place is. We have live here in Bastrop for 26 years. This is one of my favorite places. Chinese Dragon has a great lunch menu, well-priced & hardy in portion. They are genuine, friendly service, always greeted with a smile, seated us & taken very well care of us. They have a way to make you feel special. We love this place with quality food & a good price.

I was hesitant to try this place, as so many small town Chinese restaurants are barely above average. THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS!! The food was very fresh and Melissa, our server, was very friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best Chinese meals I have had in a very long time. Worth stopping in for sure!! I'll definitely be going back.

Exceptional food and service. Melissa was wonderful and offered multiple vegetarian options not listed on the menu. Don't let your experience with Chinese buffets deter you from trying this place. As low as expectations were, the Chinese Dragon blew them out of the water and we went away pleasantly pleased.

Hands down one of the best Chinese I have had. The ingredients were fresh that the vegetables were still crispy. I got the sweet and sour chicken and it filled me up. The price is very reasonable and plenty of parking. Great atmosphere as well.
