Food was good, simple American restaurant food. No frills, which is what I like! The service was even better. Erin was one of the best servers I have ever had. They are so friendly there. Lot's of reviews complain about weekends. Lost Pines & their restaurants are definitely a favorite in the area so wait times may just be apart of going to a restaurant thats in a beautiful building/area with top tier food and service. Everyone at this place will at least try and make you feel special while juggling the popularity of the place. Queso is good, burger is good, cheese curds are good, margs are good!

We dined here while staying at the Lost Pines Resort this past weekend. For lunch we dined with the kids: they messed up my burger….i told them well done and the burger came out rare. Waitress asked if I wanted it fixed but I decided to go with the chicken sandwich instead which my wife also got.
For dinner I dined here at the bar and the service was good however: I got the chicken wings but it felt undercooked. The only good part of the meal was the dessert I got: the warm cookie sundae is highly recommended! The waitress at lunch and the bartender for dinner were super nice. Would I dine here again? Not sure at this point.

Great place at Hyatt Lost pines resort. They do take walk-in. Fortunately we could get in a weekend. All the other restaurants needed prior reservations. The place is nice and the servers are attentive. I think because it was weekend it took sometime for the server to get to us. Food is expensive. We ended up paying $100+ for 4. I do have to say that food was good and true texas flavors. Patio sitting is available with space for kids to play. Great place for a nice dinner. They are open till midnight which is great if you are staying at the resort.

I emailed and texted them to tell them about my experience and never got an email back. They brought out pork chop way undercooked on top of veggies. I told the waitress and she said they will get it fixed, the brought it back on the same plate with veggies cold and almost burnt pork chop. They didn’t even re cook a new pork chop.

These brisket tacos were a great decision! Rich flavor - spicier than my wife expected. So meaty. Server gave great advice on menu.

Our family has been here two years on a row. The kids love it, too! Our server Erin is wonderful! She is personable, professional, helpful, and attentive. The manager Caden is very welcoming, too! We look forward to coming back again. :-)

Great space. Good is fine but the service could use a little help. We were here for a company event and whether it was peak times where it was packed or it was during slower times, the service was very slow. Food took way too long even during slow times.

Hostess: FAILSeating: FAILService:: FAILFood: FAILWe were told about a 30 minute wait. After 45 minutes we walked up to the hostess desk. She says “Oh I was just going to text you. We’re cleaning off the table for you. We walked outside and every table was empty! A few minutes later our Server arrived and took our order. We had the Chicken Sandwich, Vegetarian tacos and the kids size grilled cheese(COLD). After 22+ minutes the food arrives. The only thing that was descent was the chicken sandwich fries. The Server never checked on us or asked how the food was. HORRIBLE.Will not be returning here. (Local residents)

One of Hyatt Lost Pine's hotel dining options so prices are admittedly higher than may be expected. We found a nice selection of appetizers and entrees and were able to be seated both with and without reservations.Dining is both indoor and outdoor with a limited number of tables outdoors. Credit cards accepted including AmEx.

Food and service was great. That being said the prices still didn't quiet match. $13 for cup of soup of the day is excessive. Great soup but not $13 soup.Chicken club was nothing special. Brisket tacos were excellent. The pineapple Pico brought a tang that was a pleasant surprise. I worked at the Hyatt over 15yrs ago and I was very happy to know the brisket is still smoked to the same perfection. We got the wings with sauce on the side(great great grandma can't handle the heat) and I found the Buffalo cream sauce was light and tangy with a heat that still allowed you to enjoy the flavor of the sauce. I had the Wagyu burger and added bacon because bacon. It was great. The sauce compliments the beef and was applied with care as not to make a goopy dripping mess. We were celebrating my birthday and we got a piece cheese cake. They beautifully wrote happy birthday on the plate. No candle no singing (thank goodness) but it tasted amazing. Thick with a smooth creaminess without being heavy. The crust flavourful letting the creamy texture shine. Not a crumbling or soggy mess, just right.Overall the food was amazing but the bill was heavy even after having a couple of their great drinks. The one thing that I felt was missing on their menu was loaded nachos. In general there was no shareable food. It's like the made it for only singles. This can be a deal breaker for many people and I feel they may have shot themselves in the foot. Full and half order nachos would be a great addition. A family resort without a family option on their menu. I know they host conferences, but what better way to bring people together and strengthen bonds then to share a meal together.
