Pretty mid, empty building, musty atmosphere, food was bland and over cooked beyond belief. Save your money

So went here bc the pictures were great and reviews pretty good. Got here and only 5 people were there so took my dad and figured out food would be fresh and AWSOME being no one was in there. But opposite they flash fried the flavorless shrimp and fish. Fish was extra crispy outside and mushy inside. Not even sure it was real catfish and the shrimp was over cooked. Didn’t even finish my meal. My dads was the same. And the Mac n cheese is straight up Kraft without the extra cheese. Mostly Mac lil cheese. Horrible place. Will never eat here again in life. Worst food I’ve had since moving to Austin area 5 years ago. Dad agrees! I recommend going somewhere else save your money and taste buds. 🤮

Love this place!!!! Hidden gem. The crawfish is great! I get Abby’s style medium. Juicy, just enough heat. Bar staff is bar none!

Realistically for people who expect to pay prices posted on here - they are wrong….
Second mate went up in price by 11$ from 26 to 37 which is a rough price adjustment for crab you can get for 10$ a pound at market or 6$ a pound being a restaurant. This means they are making 175% profit on food if not more.
Don’t get butter to go, napkins, nothing. Honestly pretty poor 100$ dine out experience.
Just some honest feedback.

Food was great, had some Fried Catfish and Hush puppies to go. Everything was cooked well, I look forward to coming back again for more seafood soon.

I did a carry out for 12pc Cajun cocktail shrimp. And I got this… and paid $18 for it…
I could have just bought a whole bag of frozen shrimp at the store for this… very disappointed….

Oh my... Buy 5lbs, get the 6th free! Service was awesome, and the mud bugs were even better! With or without the Abby's Cajun recipe, the crawfish were full of awesome flavor and were easy to peel. I chose the hot heat level but will be choosing the next level up upon my return. If you like the spice of life, you may want to choose the top tier heat to start off with!

Having an early Mother’s Day with my family.
We ordered appetizers and kids meals and we thought we ordered snow crab waited a long time but we got crawfish instead not a one of the 8 eat crawfish so then we had to wait for snow crab waited to be cooked and it was. Delicious. I ordered a side salad and never got it. $400.00 we all got water except 2 kids drinks . Not sure if I will ever go back. Thanks

Crawfish boil (buy 5# get 1# free!), the bayou bottom seasoning is the best around, seriously. Boudin balls, seafood and more, the food is delicious.
The service is nice enough but sometimes slow to respond to refills and paying the check.
The place is clean but not immaculate, not that it needs to be but, for some reason, it comes across as a dive (like a cool dive that locals know but tourists don’t), but a cleaner version.
Abby’s is our “go to” for crawfish during the season and fills the craving for seafood during other times of the year.
