I used to go out of my way to visit this coffee shop however after today I have no intention of doing that any more. Their quality has gone down and their service today was horrible. My husband and I walked in and stood in front of the counter for several minutes without being acknowledged. The ladies behind the bar were very busy so I thought I would try to place my order on the app. I stood in front of their counter, downloaded the app, and placed my order still with no acknowledgement then sat down to wait for my order. After that I saw several other patrons come in, get greeted, have their order take , and one gentleman even received his order and left, but still I waited. After watching this happen a couple of times I finally got upset enough to go speak to a supervisor. She apologized and explained that they are very busy bumped my order (apparently it was still on the bottom of the pile 10 minutes after I placed my online order). I appreciate that she at least apologized but providing the “we are really busy” excuse does not account for the fact that we were the only customers from what I could where never so much as acknowledged or why other customers came in after I placed my online order, and they were able to be acknowledged, place their order, and receive it while my husband and I were basically ignored.

During a recent visit, I attempted to speak with Megan, the store manager, regarding a legitimate concern. From the start, she was curt and disengaged. She did not ask for details, did not clarify the issue, and gave no indication that she was actually listening.
When I asked for the concern to be escalated to her supervisor, she did not acknowledge the request—verbally or otherwise. Instead, she deflected responsibility and directed me to go online to handle it myself. At no point did she offer to document the issue, follow up, or take any action on behalf of the store.
As I continued speaking, Megan walked away—mid-sentence—without explanation. Not only was the issue left unresolved, but the interaction was marked by dismissiveness, ,and a lack of professional courtesy, or even basic acknowledgment.
You've lost a customer that used to drive out of their way to get your coffee.

I came in today to buy coffee beans for a new espresso machine and Sam was very helpful on getting me started he deserves a raise

I waited 20 minutes in the drive through for my coffee. And while waiting at the window I saw flies all around the coffee machines and syrups.
It was also the worst coffee ever. It was basically just milk with no coffee.

The brewed coffee was hot and fresh, but at an above average price! They had one employee working the lobby and drive thru, so obviously the service was slow.

This was my first time visiting Black Rock Coffee in Cedar Park, and I was blown away by how amazing the customer service was! Sam was super sweet, kind, and incredibly patient as we tried to figure out the perfect drink for me. He made my first experience such a great one!
I went back for my second visit today and was lucky enough to meet Ainslee. She was just as kind and so patient while helping me remember what I originally ordered with Sam. She even sent me the link to sign up for the rewards program, which I really appreciated.
I absolutely love Black Rock Coffee! The drinks are great, but the team makes it even better. Highly recommend! ☕💛

Place is trash.. avoid at all cost
No one greeted us at the counter. Waiting for 10 minutes then left. Half the menu on the wall was working. 3 employees walked paat us with zero acknowledgement. Hopefully they shut down and open a summer moon
