We've gone here for years. Food and service has always been great. With that said, I wish they had a changing table in at least one of the bathrooms.
Kid-friendliness: They need a changing table in at least one bathroom. Having to leave the restaurant to change a diaper in a car isn't the best experience.

What a sweet surprise! I was craving some fried shrimp but needed a place close to.my office. I snuck in, asked for quick service. Hot delicious shrimp and wonderful tasty steamed veggies for a really reasonable price! It's a gem!

I like this place, although I think the Clam Chowder recipe needs work. Good fried seafood place, lobster and shrimp dishes. All manner of crawfish.

The food here was absolutely delicious! I got the New York Strip steak and it was so juicy and tasty and cooked exactly how I wanted it. I tried my dad’s fried shrimp and holy moly that shrimp was absolutely ? fries were so good as well. This place is a 10/10 I’m surprised it wasn’t packed when I went. I’m definitely coming back.

The ONLY reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5 is because this is supposed to be a family restaurant, and they don't even have a changing station in the bathroom. I had to change my baby's diaper on the public bathroom floor before ordering food. Which I found pretty unappetizing.
I also noticed, not that it affected me personally, that they have no handicap parking? Seems like they have a great deal of elderly clientele, so I found that odd.
Honestly, they really need to address these 2 issues. Being forced to change your child's diaper on a public restroom floor before eating is unacceptable. When I complained, I was told management doesn't seem to find it all that necessary to address right away, so I can only assume it's run by a childless insensitive man. Although next time i may just change the poopy diaper on the table in front of the whole restaurant (don't think i wouldn't do it). Maybe THEN management will find it necessary to provide a changing station. And I felt bad for all those elderly people having to walk so far in the heat.
Otherwise, the service was great. Our server was super friendly and apologetic about the lack of changing table. Frankly they looked embarrassed that i had to do that. The food was excellent, very tasty. And the prices were very competitive. I can see why it's popular.
It's just that as a mother, I truly find it vulgar that they won't provide basic necessities for a family in a family restaurant. Just, as a human being and a mother, I find it insulting that they expect people to sit on the bathroom floor to change a child's diaper. It was pretty infuriating. It was a big bathroom. Just put a small table in there. It doesn't even need to be expensive. Geez.

Gumbo good but catfish platter was not Fish way very greasy and over cooked in what tasted like old oil. Very hard and tough. Mostly crust little fish. Fries were mushy, greasy and not good either. Pretty pricey for what we got. Will not order again.
