I won't even talk about me... it's my wife, being a vegetarian, that makes finding restaurants difficult. She now loves what she endearingly calls, "Churros Factory" because of my 13yo daughter's love of their churros. Okay, maybe I will throw this out for myself, and that's their chimichanga and margaritas are to die for. You know when writing a review makes you want to go back and have dinner there again... it's a great place to experience. Go on the weekends if you like live music.

I'd give Chilaquiles a 2.5 rating, but I rounded down because I wouldn't eat here again/recommend when there are so many other great restaurants around. Bottom line, the food wasn't great (with the exception of the chips) so I won't be back. CHIPS AND SALSA: 10/10 So addicting, I couldn't stop eating it. They give you a good portion for to-go. This was the only thing I liked. FAJITA OMELETTE: 4/10 I love omelettes and I love fajitas so a fajita omelette sounded right up my alley. Unfortunately this was probably the worst omelette I've ever had. The egg was a weird texture like how my eggs turn out when I don't make it right. They do give you a good portion of meat, which is great. The potatoes were meh and I don't think you can really mess up potatoes. Even the salute they put on it was bland. The only thing that made this somewhat better was hot sauce. I was just picking at it. TACOS: 5/10 We ordered a few tacos. Honestly, these could have been good because they were so filling but again, the eggs were not good. I literally had to dunk the taco in the salsa that came with the chips and pick out the eggs to make it taste decent and even then, I couldn't finish half a taco. Overall, they have an interesting menu selection that sounds really good but fell short for me. Maybe it's just a style that I don't like but others do.

Be careful ordering delivery. I ordered four items and they managed to get two of them wrong. Waited an hour for delivery and now I have food I really don't want.

I love this place!! Such good Tex mex and I especially love how vegan and vegetarian friendly it is. Growing up in San Antonio I'm super selective with Tex mex and this place is perfect. Ive even driven 45 minutes one way just to get some food from here! They also don't shy away from spice - as someone who LOVES spicy food it's great when places make things legitimately spicy. 10/10

Order a Paloma and not a hint of alcohol. They had very few customers and service was still slow. I asked then to redo the Paloma and the bartender/owner sent the waitress to tell us that they don't refund drinks. I guess I'm stuck with a $9 Squirt.Stay away from this place. Oh and food was mediocre at best.

If you are looking for vegan Mexican, Give the Chilaquiles Factory a serious look. They have the most extensive Vegan Mexican menu around ... and the vegan food is not mediocre ... unlike a certain Mr. ______ (Vegans, you know who I am talking about). An additional plus for the Chilaquiles Factory Is that the General Manager and Staff are super super super nice. * * * This is a tough town in which to run a Mexican restaurant. There are a million outstanding brick and mortal places. There are another million outstanding food trucks. The competition is pretty intense. There were a lot of empty seats when we ate there. The food we had was "okay". My wife was more enthusiastic than I was because of the many vegan options. But she was not talking five stars. If this place was in Madison, Wisconsin, Its stock would go way up. Wisconsin does not have great Mexican food. If you are a vegan and sorely miss Mexican food, This place's stock goes way up. If you are a carnivore looking for all-out Tex-Mex delight, There are a whole lot of food trucks out there that are calling your name.

A FULL VEGAN menu is available ?! Even vegan desserts and vegan kids menu options. I enjoyed this place with it's fun decor and delicious salsa. Theres even a room for the kids to play and a very nice outdoor patio. Large bar seating section. I found the plate portions weren't too excessive but not too little. Just enough to get you full... if you don't eat two baskets of chips lol.

Good food for a good price. Extensive vegan menu. Very exciting for someone that doesn't eat meat and doesn't like beans. Also exciting for someone who does like beans! You can have fake cheese or fake meat with your beans. The flan was great too and the coconut flavour was very light. Take your veggie friends here instead of chuys :)

Gave it a try for the first time, will not be back. Went around 11 AM last Sunday for brunch. The waitresses were extremely friendly I will say that was positive. However when the chips and salsa came out we almost walked out and should have right then. The salsa was awful, had a very strong Italian/basil taste to it. But decided to give it a try anyways and ordered some queso. We ordered the queso that had everything in it, and when it came out the queso was ice cold!! The w

So I was hesitant to walk in as there was no cars in the lot. Sure enough I go in and it's empty . Im greeted by the only person there and I decide to sit At the bar. I ordered a tall draft that was 1/4 full of foam and when I asked for the menu the gentleman replied "you want to order " and I replied yes and he said "what you want" . So I asked for the menu again and this time he understood. I ordered some tacos and the meat seemed to be microwaved because it the carnitas was really dry on top. I took home a parrillada for the family and they didn't touch it. It was disgusting and so dry that it was obvious that it was not only microwaved but seemed like yesterday leftovers. I asked for salsa and o was charged 5 bucks And too also add this place is very expensive and the service is not very good

Second time being here, we had a $64 lunch this today . Our steak with vegetables that we ordered rare, came out very overcooked. One of my friends that was with me, asked for a verde sauce for his chips. The waitress brought us a red sauce that they put on enchiladas. What Mexican restaurant doesn't have green verde sauce? Took a long time to get our food. Gave a great review for our first visit, but only 2 stars this time

Menu for omnivores and a separate menu for vegans! They even have cashew cheese. I had the mole enchilada and they were great. Very friendly staff, colorful ambiance, music on some nights. I love that they cater to all eating types.

Friendly service and very tasty food! Great vegan menu is a major major plus considering there isn't many options around this part of town.
