Authentic Japanese flavor. Meh service as boss lady seems to always be mad and impatient..might be nicer to white people. Food is good. We've been coming for a couple years. The prices are going up for sure. 3-4 people $200 after tip

The food was pretty good and felt authentic.
The waitress (believe she is the owner) was not too friendly and we felt it had to be her way (table setup and empty plates taken away). She has the attitude.
The price was a bit high based on the food they serve. After tax and tips, it's about $45 per person.
Also we waited for a long time before the first dish came while we were the first table for the night.

This is the BEST sushi place in north Austin.
The quality is consistently amazing, haven’t been disappointed once.
I won’t go anywhere else.
The staff is friendly and the food is amazing.
They have a great lunch special also!

I almost want to gate keep this place.
I won’t say the food is closest to Japan because if I closed my eyes I wouldn’t know that this was not Japan.

We ordered the miso soup, salad, mixed tempura, beef teriyaki , edamame , tiger roll, kotatsu (fried chicken). Everything blew our minds.
Cannot recommend enough. 100/10

Underrated sushi spot. Their fish quality is so good, and they give out thick pieces of fishes as well. This is our second time to Daichi and it surely isn’t our last. I would say to skip appetizers and ger their rolls/sashimis/nigiris bc they are surely worth your money. Nice folks so it feels good to be supporting them

Wow! The current 4.7 rating drew me in and did not disappoint. The sushi was flavorful, spicy, and melted in your mouth. We found our local sushi spot!!

We will definitely not come back again!!! They don’t offer authentic Japanese food! The taste of noodle and rice are so…….so wired. Their environment and services are not ideal as well.

The Sushi, Miso soup and Salad were delicious. The sushi is so fresh and full of flavor. The prices are very reasonable as well. Very clean and nice bathrooms. Will be coming back soon!
