This is a really great sushi place especially if you looking for something fast and tasty. I personally thought that it tasted pretty fresh and they were willing to accommodate my allergy restrictions. Definitely willing to go back give it a try!

Really good Japanese restaurant and one of the few that offer okonomiyaki. Everything we ordered tasted wonderful and we had no issues with the quality of food. Location is a bit small while we didn't have to wait for a table shortly after we were seated numerous big groups showed up and had to wait. I really like the small location very good date night spot so having to wait for seating isn't a deal breaker for me.
I've been going to Daichi for almost 8 years now. The owner and her staff are so sweet, the space is welcoming, and the food is consistently delicious. My family usually gets the chicken katsu curry and mixed tempura to share. I've been trying other items on the menu too. Their nigiri sushi, sashimi, and sushi rolls are tasty, much better than I thought for a sushi restaurant in Texas. Tomo - thank you for giving my family a place to indulge in our Japanese food craving!
We had a great evening of food and fun. We had Edamame, Seaweed Salad, Miso, Agedashi Tofu, Kaisen Don (Chirashi), Tuna Nigiri, Fresh Wasabi, Spicy Tuna Roll, Tuna Avocado Roll, Spider Roll, Rainbow Roll and Ceviche roll. It was all very good.
What a fantastic gem hidden in a random strip mall. The storefront is unassuming but you have to try this spot. The staff is very polite, I ordered takeout that came in 3 bags and they offered to help me bring the food to the car. It's the effort that counts. Now the food: if you order their lunch specials it's an absolute steal. The lunch menu choices is staggering. We got udon, sushi, teriyaki, tempura, and more! Everything came out amazing, nothing would suggest it's of lesser quality. At such high quality with this price, it's pretty much a no brainer. Enjoy your lunch at Daichi!

I’m glad that I find this hidden gem. They offer a variety of options from sushi/sashimi, yakitori, to some more affordable options like fried food, boiled food, rice/noodle dishes. Ceviche roll gives me a great surprise! It is a roll of made of lightly fried rice wrapper with sashimi ceviche as toppings. The spicy sauce combines greatly with the ceviche and the crispy texture of the rice wrapper.

Just devoured our spicy gyudon and pork cutlet curry. We found this place on Reddit and it went past our expectations! The service was good, it took us longer to get our food because there was only one person waiting tables, but we'll worth it. Can't wait to come back!
