We made a reservation and I am thankful we did. It was very crowded, but they got us seated right away. Our service was great as was our food and drinks. The blue crab ravioli was out of this world as were the fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, and the queso.

Staff accommodated seating request. Server presented lunch special flawlessly. Meal served warm. Their Shrimp tostadas and shrimp enchiladas were fantastic. My wifes grilled chicken salad was on point. They provided desert for her birthday.
It was delicious.

I am currently undergoing chemotherapy and visited this restaurant for dinner immediately after an appointment with my oncologist.
I have a documented dog allergy and informed staff of my medical concerns when a service animal was seated nearby. I respect the rights of individuals with service animals; however, businesses are also responsible for making reasonable accommodations when multiple medical conditions are involved.
Although I was moved, the accommodation was insufficient. I began coughing severely and was unable to enjoy my meal. For someone undergoing chemotherapy, allergic reactions and prolonged coughing can cause breathing difficulty, fatigue, inflammation, and additional strain on a compromised immune system.
After paying, I spoke with the manager and explained that I am a cancer patient experiencing a medical reaction. She stated there was “nothing she could do” and showed little concern or empathy. When I said I would not return, her response was simply, “That is your choice.”
This was not about a service animal — it was about how a serious medical concern was handled. Because of this experience, I will not dine at this restaurant or any of its locations again.

Server was Daniela and she was outstanding very knowledgeable about the menu, the food, and it was delicious! She was very polite explained the source fresh and homemade dishes. She came back asking how was the taste of the food and did we need anything else throughout our evening. Then mentioned there was homemade dessert and knew them as well, without looking at a menu, so professional at her job! Atmosphere very warm family place to go relax after your busy day! Daniela, I will always ask for her when I visit. Thank you so much, in hiring her!

Jack Allen's is a staple for us. We did our wedding rehearsal there years ago. Every time we go its top notch. Menu items change over time, and keeps it fresh. Sometimes there is a wait but its always worth it.

Sunday evening Visit to Jack Allen’s Kitchen.

Atmosphere is rustic, with lots of unfinished Wood trims.

Service was decent.

Alcohol Free Mocktails were good:
I had the Mango Jalapeño Nada Rita.
My guest had the Cucumber Mint Tonic and loved it.

Our Appetizer choice was the Layered Chunky Queso w/Chips.
Very good.

For the Main:
My guest had the Toms House Salad w/ Grilled Chicken.
She enjoyed that.

I chose the Crunchy Catfish and Slaw, which is actually on the Appetizer menu, and I made it my meal.
It was plentiful and good.

For my first time here I was pleased.

I will be back.

Great food and great service at Jack Allen’s kitchen in Cedar Park, Texas. Very popular spot definitely make a reservation on their website; especially on Friday night. Highly recommend!

Absolutely Outstanding! The food is locally sourced, fresh, and delicious! You must try the pimento cheese!!! Anna our server was a delight and made our night memorable. The service manager Gary came to our table and welcomed us, as it was our first time to visit. A very welcoming atmosphere. We will be back! And you’’ll be missing a fantastic dinning experience if you don’t check them out! A 10/10 for sure!
