Levant Cafe & Grill

If you want to choose from a larger selection of dishes than the typical Mediterranean restaurant offers, Levant Cafe and Grill is well worth a try. I counted 19 different sides on their menu. You can use them in a 6-side Mezze Plate or you can make a bowl of protein choice, base, and 4 sides. Or, of course, you can order an entree and add sides if you like.

Don't be fooled by the drink cooler at the beginning of the cafeteria-style line. You can also order fresh ice tea, hot tea, soft drinks, etc.

I'm vegan and can't comment on their meat dishes from personal experience, but their falafel is good. I've been here twice now, both times with friends, some non-vegan, and everyone enjoyed their meals.

We live in Colorado, but hubby travels for business to Georgetown once a month. We always come here one night. Best food, friendliest service and atmosphere is top notch. I love their pitas and their jalapeno hummus. My very fave restaurant and wish they were in Colorado.

I love how fresh and homemade all the food is. I recently watched him make the falafel fresh in front of me which was amazing and so much better than the Sysco stuff most places use. My favorite is the Makafel pita which is falafel and eggplant and is so wonderful.

The food was fresh and tasted really good. We were offered their spicy red sauce for falafel and told it wasn’t spicy. Personally found it too spicy for my taste buds. Baklava was okay. The ambience was great and we were grateful for the outside seating

Thamir was so wonderful! He offered excellent customer service, helped me pick out my entree and was very polite and helpful! The food was delicious and I can’t wait to go back to try more of the delicious entrees and treats !

The gentleman at the front was very kind! He was conversational and provided great advice for my family, as this was our first experience there, and the first experience with this style of cuisine for my wife and children. The food is authentic to the food I've eaten in the middle east....and absolutely wonderful! The whole experience was great and I highly recommend you give it a try, even if you're nervous about the different style or flavors...they have something for everyone.

I don't understand the high ratings for this place. The garlic sauce tasted like mayo, there was no garlic flavor at all. The chicken was overcooked. The zaatar bread was somehow flavorless as well. The hummus and tabbouleh were just ok. I have yet to find one Middle Eastern restaurant in Austin that compares in flavor to the restaurants in Houston. Sigh...

Very delicious food. Customer service was five star. I highly recommend this place. Come for lunch or bring your family for dinner. Either way This place hits the spot! Yummy ?
