Three stars if this was a sit-down restaurant, four stars for it being cafeteria style which is always a little compromised in flavor and quality. Basically a good perfectly acceptable cafeteria style Mediterranean restaurant.

This is THE BEST middle eastern restaurant in the whole Austin metro area. Skip the mainstream ones in Austin filled with teenagers wannabe influencers. If you want a legit experience with great food (the bowls are huge!), environment, and service, Levant Halal Cafe & Grill is the place to go.

I've been to Levant twice now and both times were excellent. The staff is super friendly and helpful, greeting you with a smile as soon as you walk in. I've gotten different variations of the bowl both times I went. The Jordanian Zaatar Bread is amazing and I regret not getting it the second time! Fries were great. Everything was fresh and a different offering than other similar places. It's a huge amount of food for the price as well. I look forward to making this a regular meal every week!

Levant’s Beef Shawarma

This thing slapped harder than my alarm on a Monday. Beef so tender it practically apologized for being eaten.
