Nice service. But the food wasn't earth shattering. The salad that came with a vegetarian plate was not seasoned. The bread used for a wrap was pretty dry and tasted like paper.

The person at the register was very nice and welcoming. I ordered Togo. I was super surprised that my food was ready seconds after I ordered. I even said something to the person at the register about how fast my food was prepared. I later learned a very harsh lesson. My food was not so great. I ordered the chicken and rice with a side of salad. The chicken was super dry and the rice was flavorless. The side salad was the best and worst part of my meal. After eating the food, because it was the only thing I'd eaten and I was starving. I fell ill in the stomach. (I'll keep the details to myself) but it was very uncomfortable. I believe this place has potential but I will not be going back.

I got the specialty plate with group meat and it is fantastic. The portion of the baklava is a joke tho.

It's been a couple years since we last ate at Leyla's. Those first few times we went (right after they opened), we thought the food was incredible. Today was a different story, however. The service was just as fast as it was years ago, but the food was just...off. We got fried mushrooms and fried pickles, because we had them the first few times we went here. Both were essentially 85% breading, 10% seasoning and 5% pickle or mushroom. Plus, the pickles were wayyyyy spicy, so my wife couldn't eat them. Main courses weren't any better. Both the gyro plate and the falafel wrap were bland as bland gets. A couple of years ago, they were full of flavor. I don't know what changed in the kitchen, but today it just wasn't up to par. We will try it again soon; hopefully today was just a one-off.
