Rumaan Cuisine

Not a single soul was in the restaurant eating or visibly working (at the host stand or bar) when we entered the restaurant at around 1pm on a Monday. The bell on the host stand worked but didn't seem to get anyone's attention and we had to yell back to the kitchen to see if they were even open (the signage and opened doors indicated they were). The Grilled Halloumi came fried instead of grilled and the portion and shape seemed completely different than what was pictured online. It tasted of old fryer grease. The meat portion on the beef shawarma plate was small and two of the larger pieces of beef were completely inedible, un-chewable pieces of gristle. Another party came in to dine at some point during our meal, but the only other person I saw in the restaurant besides them and the one employee serving us was the health inspector who was entering as we left. I can't say for sure what that was about, but it did not exactly inspire confidence in the food I just ate. Overall, you're far better off at the mall food court. I still tipped 18% as it was the lowest preset option available on the Toast tablet.

The food there was absolutely amazing, not to mention they we’re incredibly hospitable, will definitely be coming back if I’m in the area again!

This place is delicious and very convenient if you’re already in the mall. The food was very fast and good service. I especially like that it tells me if it’s gluten free on the menu. I will be returning!

What hidden Gem! Food was fantastic!

I have enjoyed the food at Rumaan Cuisine and their mint lemonade. The service is good, and the atmosphere is good. I really recommend the mint lemonade.

Delicious food and amazing people!

I've been looking for a great authentic mediterranean food spot in north Austin, and I think I've finally found it! Came to Lakeline mall for some shopping and decided to stop by at Rumaan. Ali was my waiter, really great guy, explained to me the whole menu and gave great recommendations. The hummus was amazing, nice, creamy, and light. The falafel wrap was also amazing. They used a really thin tortilla wrap so the flavors of the falafel and sauces taste more pronounced. Great spot for a date night!

Best Falafal I have tasted so far. The meal was delicious and fulfilling. Ali was very courteous and warm in welcoming us. Highly recommend this place.

Was skeptical bc I don’t usually like “mall food” but this wasn’t in the food court, just in the side of Macys.

Best baba ganoush and falafel that I’ve had in VERY a long time. The ambiance was great and my fave thing was the hot mint tea served in a gorgeous teapot.

If you haven't been here, stop right now and reevaluate your life. This place serves amazing, fresh, seasoned, tender, quick, deliciousness with amazing service. Try the hummus, best I ever had, and the fresh mint lemonade is so good. All, and I do mean ALL of the food is on point!
