Salerno Cucina Italiana

This place was way too overpriced for what you get. It was pretty much $20 per plate and it was some of the worst Italian food we've ever had. The lettuce in the salad was dry and looked old, nobody ate it. The bread was burnt and had no flavor. The fettuccine Alfredo was bland, oily, noodles overcooked and was lacking sauce. The lasagna was also not good either, I've had better frozen lasagna from the grocery store. The portion sizes were also small, they seemed more like a kids plate. Our first red flag should've been when we called to place an order and they said it would be ready in 25-30 minutes and when we arrived they said they never received an order over the phone. We showed them my call log and the number we called and asked if that was the correct number to which they said yes. It's fine if someone forgot to put in the order but at least own up to it instead of saying no order was received over the phone especially when we had them on speaker phone and multiple people in our group heard the conversation and the order being placed. So then we had to wait even longer for disappointment. My mother-in-law spent over $100 for 4 people and a 2 year old for something we could've made better at home and for a lot less. Save your money and time!

Order was incorrect. I paid extra money to swap the spaghetti with red sauce to fettuccine with Alfredo for the chicken parm meal and it came with the spaghetti with red sauce. Pretty disappointing for how expensive it all was. Meatballs were just ok but pretty flavorless. I had much higher expectations after reading through other reviews. The “garlic” bread was delicious and had a great texture and the pizza we got for the kids looked great…although toppings were wrong on that as well.

Edit :: toast never works, doordash pricing is fubar, leaves phone off the hook, makes it impossible to get food service without waiting forever. Left very unhappy, for the second time.

10-22-25 :: Update. Still failing to get their toast orders. Had to call and tell them to prepare my pickup order.

Probably the worse food I ever had, I’m sorry to say. I got the Caesar salad with salmon. The salmon was so salty I couldn’t really eat it and the dressing tasted like mayonnaise. The other party ordered lasagna and didn’t like it Hopefully this place gets better. I believe it’s under new ownership.

If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! The eggplant parm was superb! The bread was freshly made and they give you great salad portions. Excellent service and atmosphere. You could actually hear the person you are eating with without loud background noise. Highly recommend! As you can see from the photos, I couldn’t wait to dig in!

You can really tell this is under new management. The food is delicious and they have a great wine selection. Service was awesome as well. Highly recommended !

The service is very friendly.
The bread has the most perfect dough I’ve ever tried—its flavor is homemade but with a gourmet touch. And the pizza is Simply amazing! 100% I recommend it

Spectacular!!! It is a great delight to the palate of those of us who love Italian cuisine; They made us feel at home with the excellent service, more than affordable prices and the dishes served in abundance. Congratulations Salerno!!!!

The owner Gianmarco and the staff are most welcoming. The restaurant decor is attractive and seating is comfortable. The menu has a lot of choices and prices are reasonable. Entrees (except Pizza) are served with a Caesar Salad. Service is quick and attentive. The portions are large and Food comes out hot. I highly recommend the Chicken Parmigiana (served with spaghetti) and the Pizza. This Italian is not to be missed!
