Great BBQ, our favorite. We live far away now drove in bc it said they were open.. might have modified hours on Easter. Do us all a favor just say you are closed.. haven’t eaten here in over a year huge disappointment. You guys are great just post online you are closed. We wasted 2 hours today. Now we are scared to risk coming your direction again.

The service was friendly and fantastic. With that said, for Texas BBQ, this was something I could have done better at home. The sandwich I ordered looked nothing like how was advertised. For 41 bucks we got two sandwiches and two fountain drinks, that’s it.

The best BBQ without the stand-in-line drama of some of the popular BBQ places in town. The fact that there's a location in Cedar Park is a huge bonus. I hope people drive past the mediocre dining options in the area (of which there are plenty, looking at you BJ's) and give Slab a try. Fast, friendly service and zero attitude.

I got the Tony Montana for the first time. It was ok but I wouldn't order again. The potato salad seemed to be cooked incorrectly -- flavor was ok but the texture of the potatoes was crunchy like half baked instead of twice baked. My wife got the dirty Mac with chicken. The chicken was either undercooked or of very low quality. Chicken in a can tastes better and has better texture. It looked like tofu and broke apart like it too. Not to mention the 1/2 ribs we got were flavorless, lean, and sloppily prepared with glaze on 2 of the ribs. On top of that, when I was getting sauce an employee asked me to move so they could change the trash. We used to eat at the location in Austin weekly, and we went on one of our first dates there. Bad call seeking some nostalgic flavors before our anniversary. I don't think we'll be back any time soon, if ever. We both were like can we get a refund on? And, what happened to slab? Never thrown away BBQ in my life until this visit.

First time in, and I walked up and asked if they had any recommendations. The gentleman who helped me rattled off that they were known for their ribs. He suggested the de-boned rib sandwich. It was delicious. It had more than enough meat on it, sauce, onions, and pickles. Atmosphere is chill, and the other staff I interacted with made it a pleasure.
