Creative and delish sushi. I love it. The service was a bit slow but good sushi takes time.

Sushi was fresh and delicious. The sushi chef made a recommendation on what roll to order after asking what ingredients I usually enjoy. He was spot on. Great place.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this sushi spot! I used to think that restaurants in strip malls were never going to be that great. Then I moved to Leander and some of the best restaurants I've tried here are in strip malls. Mental model readjusted. Great sushi at reasonable prices. Good ambiance for a date night.

My go to sushi place. I love the classic rolls and have not been disappointed by the special ones. However going during their "happy hour/ lunch time special" is not the best. I always get the California roll and it's amazing. Except for at lunch time. It seems like they pre make a bunch of their most popular rolls to have ready but there a lot smaller and the seaweed is always really chewy. However you can ask to pay full price and skip the special and they'll make it fresh. I should note that I'm just assuming baste of my experiences that lunch special rolls are pre made. I could be totally wrong lol

They have a chefs menu, a traditional menu, a secret menu, and a daily menu with specials. The specialty rolls are large sized rolls and the fish quality is high especially for this land locked area of Texas. Owner is always there working hard and smiling. Staff is well trained and they know the menu well so ask for recommendations and try something new!

Good customer service for a lunch date. Got the spicy tuna roll, spicy crab roll, spicy salmon roll, with 5 nigiri sushi. Rolls were fish paste but good flavor. Especially liked the nigiri. Big pieces of fish with very mild wasabi. Great customer service and nice small restaurant. Added spicy mayo on the side. Suggested by server which was a great suggestion.Got gyoza with some sort of chili sauce. Recommend skipping the sauce unless you like chili, different from traditional gyoza but not bad. Would come back for nigiri.

An excellent place for sushi if you're in this area of town. Restaurant itself is clean and decorated like most sushi restaurants. The staff are nice and knowledgeable. We love their rolls. It's hard to choose a favorite, but mine is the one wrapped in thinly sliced apples. So fresh with the most incredible dipping sauce. There is typically a wait so be prepared. We will order to go from them and it always tastes just as good as dining in.

This is hands down the best sushi rolls I have had in my time thus far. Some friends and I came here for my birthday spur of the moment yesterday evening and had a great experience. Everyone ordered different special rolls and each one was amazing in its own right. The surf and turf & alligator were my personal favorites.

Went during happy hour. Was good but not amazing. The classic rolls felt more worth it than the specialty rolls.

Great selection of food, fresh and we'll made with great flavors and roll choices. Staff is usually very attentive and polite. Would definitely recommend the beef teriyaki or the Katsu plate. When fresh sushi matters, this is your best option in Leander. Creative menu, quality service and a comfortable, inviting atmos. This place is popular.

I have been here twice. Back in Oct 2021 and then recently this year. The first time I wasn't impressed but I also was with friends who ordered actual rolls and not sashimi. Basically rolls just dunked in sauce which mask the actual flavor of the raw fish. The second time I ordered sashimi. In my opinion eating sushi is tasting the fish raw as what sushi is known for. I wasn't impressed either. 1. Each time the restaurant is so busy and always a wait. 2. Considering every industry is short handed on servers I will say the service is top notch reason for 3 stars. 3. I know supplies have gone up causing prices to go up as well but it's still overpriced. 4. It's loud in there so not a good ambience to take on a date. If you prefer cooked rolls like shrimp tempura, spider rolls, fried rolls, etc this would be a good place for it.

Roll came out really fast -- spicy and fresh. Salad and bowl had very fresh ingredients that were all delicious especially the tuna. A bit pricey but somewhat to be expected given seafood in central Texas and inflation. Still will be back next time in Austin.

This is the best sushi place I’ve ever went to in my whole life!!!… I had a miso soup, Philadelphia roll, rainbow roll, Japanese lasagna, and the flying fish eggs all were 10/10. The atmosphere and service were one of the best I’ve been to!!

My son loves sushi and had been wanting to try this place for a while now. The rolls we ordered were absolutely delicious! Our waiter Dean was fantastic and recommended the Something Wrong roll. I usually try to stay in the safe zone but decided to venture out with his recommendation. So glad I did! It was spicy with a little citrusy flavor. Although it was a bit pricey, it was well worth it! We will definitely be back!!!

This is an amazing sushi restaurant! They have all the classics like California and Philadelphia rolls as well as more complex and unique takes on sashimi and specialty rolls. The volcano roll and the sashimi wrap were definitely highlights.
