“The Tom Kha soup is awesome! I always get that with a side of rice and try something new. So far I’ve tried the spring rolls, Moo ping, and Thai jerky strip. The sauces taste fresh and authentic. I do take out every time and it’s always quality and satisfying!“

“I visit this Thai restaurant almost every day, and their Khao Soi is, without a doubt, one of my favorite dishes. This rich, coconut milk-based soup is the epitome of comfort, with its creamy, aromatic broth packed with flavor. The egg noodles are perfectly cooked, offering a satisfying texture that complements the smoothness of the soup. The chicken is always tender and juicy, making each bite a delight.
What sets this Khao Soi apart is the balance of spices. The soup is subtly sweet yet has just enough heat to keep things exciting without overwhelming the palate. The fresh toppings—crispy fried noodles, cilantro, and lime—add a wonderful crunch and brightness, providing a contrast to the velvety richness of the broth. It’s clear that the ingredients are always fresh, and the dish is consistently flavorful.
Aside from the food, the service here is excellent. The staff is always friendly, and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that feels like a second home. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, the Khao Soi will leave you craving more. I can honestly say this place has become my go-to spot for Thai food, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended!“

“Always nice service, food comes out in a timely manner and fresh. Outside patio seating, despite it being right next to a major road. The edamame are a little difficult to eat because of the many red pepper flakes, fried chicken dumplings were 10/10, the mixed veggies with egg noodles was delicious, and the crab fried rice was a 7/10. Plenty of parking and very reasonably priced.“

“Simply the best Thai food ive had in the austin area. I was about to give up on finding a great thai spot here after trying numerous others and being a bit disappointed. So glad i gave Thai Time a try, it was so good last night im craving it again today! Best Thai Tea ive ever had and the food was perfectly seasoned and had plenty of protein and veggies. I dont normally write reviews like this but it felt necessary to share after trying so many other places. Thai Time is the real deal!“

“Some items like their Pad Thai are very flavorful. The Pad Kee Mao lacked flavor, and the noodles were too long in my opinion. I would return for the unique Pad Thai.
Good portions as well and better bang-for-buck than most Thai restaurants in Austin.“

“We came in for a late dinner when they were about to close and they were very accommodating. Service was fast and kind and they waited for us to finish our meal. Love the pad Kee Mao, tastes so fresh and balanced with just enough spice at level 1. Thai spicy is no joke so pick levels 2-5 at your own risk! ?“

“Great food. Fast, friendly, extensive menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with Thai sauce with a bit of heat to it and it was delicious with my bottle of Canyon Chardonnay. Then, their dessert of mango sticks was an absolute topper!“

“Our family has been eating here for many years. It’s a very good restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious, always steaming hot. They were just closed for a couple months to make some updates and we were so happy when they reopened. This place is worth seeking out and eating at. I highly recommended. One of the best in Lakeway!“
