Update: it's been a few years and I have indeed spent lots of time here! Trivia on Tuesdays is always a blast. They also do bingo nights, open mic nights, plant swaps and more! Very family friendly place with a large lawn and a playground. We love hanging out, chatting with the staff, meeting lots of dogs and watching the kids play!
Awesome beer garden near the Bark Park! Food trucks, pet friendly, and tons of local brews including a cider. Definitely going to be spending lots of time here!
Cute spot with excellent, local beer (and NA beer options). Beautiful tree-filled lawn.
The family & kid friendly atmosphere they promote is a sham. They have zero respect for pregnant or nursing mothers. In the height of summer, when you are sitting outside under 90 degree heat with no fans or blowers, the management and staff has zero tolerance for the hydration needs of their customers. Instead, the rude and almost unfriendly staff is more concerned about enforcing their policy of NO water from outside.
We were cooperative enough to empty out our water bottle in front of the management. However, this wasn't sufficient enough to reinstate their trust in us. The manager wanted us to keep an empty water bottle behind the bar counter for safe keeping. Their attitude was insulting and demeaning.
Being a regular visitor to breweries almost every weekend, I have never felt so shamed or disrespected for carrying some drinking water. Such inflexible policies were unwarranted.
I recommend AVOIDING this place at all costs considering they serve mediocre beer and don't serve any food of their own.
This establishment is Profit over People. We visited on a 90 + degree evening in July to this outdoor venue and brought a water bottle that my child and baby were using and was told to put it in the car. We even dumped the water out in front of the manager and they still wouldn't allow us to fill our water bottle on site. They even had a problem with an empty water bottle in my diaper bag. Allowing sippy cups is subjective, they decide what a kids cup is. My kids drink a lot of water and I am not carrying around 5 small bottles on top of everything else. This place is not kid friendly. Just because you put out some play ground equipment does not make you kid friendly when you are putting the health of Moms, babies and kids at risk. Offering TINY water cups that you have to keep refilling on top of juggling all other parental duties like watching your kids and in my case breastfeeding is not a solution. Places that regurgitate policy just for the sake of policy without using common sense and assessing the situation are not customer focused. They mention it is TABC policy but it is not (See attached). He mentioned they had some cases where people snuck in alcohol, every adult at the table had a beer in front of them. Clearly we are not sneaking in alcohol when while speaking to the manager both my baby and kid drank from the water bottle. Not letting babies, kids and adults have adequate water supply in the Texas heat is INHUMANE. They are more concerned with their bottom line and are risking the health of the customers. They should be ashamed, especially when I read several other reviews of not letting pregnant women have a water bottle. We will never return and will also be spreading the word. I will be informing any influencers who include this place in their kid friendly list (which is how I found them). No other place in town has such an extreme water policy. Please visit places that treat customers and kids with care. We went to 5th Element Brewing and it was outstanding!
Sat outside, had a couple beers, some delicious food trucks on the lot & had a great time with my group.
Love the outdoor environment, but definitely a hot spot for families, kids running around everywhere. Didn’t bother me much but may not be everyone’s cup of tea.
Overall great place!!
Good beer and food choices.
Excellent place to enjoy outdoors with good beer and reasonable prices. Very kid friendly add there's a playscape and other activities for the kids. Food is three stars because it can be hit or miss depending on which trucks are open, but that's not under control of The Good Lot I dont believe.

Very cool place. Several food trucks, pretty good options for food. Line was a little long for beer orders. Only one person behind the bar, but he worked as fast as he could. Maybe help didn't show up? Beautiful and very large outdoor beer garden type place. Plenty of fans, misters, and shade trees made the hot weather tolerable. Above average beer selection. Definitely recommend.

Everything was great except we were offended by the tip request of 25%.That amount is unconscionably high and not customary for pouring a beer and grabbing a can.
