I don’t even know where to start! It was my first time ordering here, I walk in and all the employees are overly eager to exclaim we have no power shrug ‘sorry’. Well I already placed a $40 online order and there was no mention of power issues. Their phone line was completely not in service, not due to a power issue, maybe they didn’t pay the phone bill cause it wasn’t even associated with the business anymore. Regardless I asked for some kind of confirmation that they would refund my money since no one even asked my name to confirm my order, then, the employee went to get some quirky, dancing, (drunk?) manager to come inside and say “well do you wanna record me saying you’ll get a refund” like seriously? It wasn’t until I was leaving that anyone half haphazardly said “sorry” . But regardless I guess I’m just hoping and praying to see a refund.

To note, I realize tech difficulties happen. Online orders should have been stopped the minute it happened, phone lines should work, and in the instances of severe inconveniences, accommodations and sincerities should be taken.

I felt like nothing was takin seriously and the atmosphere seemed severely unsophisticated.

Exceptional experience. As someone raised on New York pizza and notoriously picky about it, I rarely find pizza in Texas that feels authentic. Mangiamo delivered the best I have had in the state. The crust was crisp and flavorful, the sauce was bright and balanced, and the ingredients were high quality and easy to taste! The meatballs were outstanding as well.

The service matched the food. The staff was friendly, and the owner personally came over to talk with us and share the family history behind their Fra Focaccias and Hot Grinders. That level of pride and connection shows in every bite!

Mangiamo is the kind of place you want to support. The food is authentic, the people are genuine, and the family story behind it all adds even more meaning to the experience. I am grateful that I did not let the lone review that claimed “Olive Garden is better” influence my decision to visit. That comparison is not even close. Mangiamo is authentic, thoughtful, and absolutely worth the visit!

Great food, great staff! Nice local place to come and get some great pizza and subs. They have enough space for a big crowd and the outdoor space is great for the kids to run around. I always try and stop by if I can.

I live in Prosper but thought of going to Celina for Italian this evening. This place is a gem and the owner seemed very welcoming . He kind of helped us to place some customize orders for all 4 of us. Every item tasted so yumm. I have clicked pics of just two items and kids pastas were not clicked. Italian is something which we have explored at plenty of places and can tell this place is trying their hard to impress their customers. The meatballs were bigger than avg size. The Alfredo sauce tasted so authentic. The bread with it was so so good. The chickens were so juicy and tender. Overall a very good experience. The only issue I can see is if you are going with a big party then there are no square tables to join smooth . All are sma circle tables. But this place is definitely a Yaay as you can even walk before or after just to enjoy some small town air.

Had an amazing time with the ladies of Prosper/Celina Global Women’s Empire at your restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor.

Very nice Italian spot in downtown Celina with friendly service. They know their way around a chicken cutlet lol 🤌🏾 The Chicken Parmesan in traditional form or as a andwich is always my go-to meal. The Chicken Milanese sandwich is good as well. The owners take pride in their food and it shows. He made sure our and the other patrons food was served to perfection!

First time at Mangiamo, and we instantly felt welcome. The owner was kind, hilarious, and walked us through the menu with the best recommendations. I ordered the mushroom fettuccine and decided to add Calabrian chilies on a whim… 10/10 decision, it was incredible. My husband got the Spicy Mama Grinder (one of their best sellers for a reason) and loved it. Such an awesome experience overall, and we’re so happy we stumbled upon this gem in the cutest little downtown area. We’ll definitely be back very soon!
