True story. When trying to decide where to move in the North Texas area, I stopped into Summer Moon while looking at houses. I loved Summer Moon and downtown Celina so much - I decided right then to move to Celina! Two years later, I still love Summer Moon.

On November 20th my daughter and I ran in to the Celina location grab a snack and some drinks and I was unfortunately disappointed in the service. My whole family and I frequent the Keller and Dallas locations and are always satisfied with our experience. We decided against the food options we originally paid for and it took them 10+ minutes to figure out the refund plus longer for my drinks. I ordered a two half winter moons and they didn’t taste right or how they usually do. After everything with the refund and the experience in general, I didn’t even want to try to have them fix the drinks. The girls who were working weren’t very attentive and seemed more interested in gossiping. I love Summermoon and will continue to go to the Dallas and Keller locations, wish I could have had the same experience at Celina.

I've had the chance to experience a hand full of Summer Moon locations over the years (in both the greater Austin and Dallas metroplexes) and each time I visit a new location, I'm impressed by their 'modernized rustic' décor. This weekend when I visited Summer Moon's Celina location was no different. I was impressed when I first walked in... the overhead 'floating' lamps along the wall by the seating area, wood paneling, and colorful tile-art wrapping around the coffee bar was a joyful greeting to guests. It was busy, but the the staff kept their cool and were both accommodating and friendly. I had a hard time deciding between 2 drinks and opted for combining the mixture of the second drink I was deciding on (an Autumn Moon) into the first drink I was deciding on (a half sweet, half spicy chai). The drink tasted mostly like milk...I couldn't make out a single flavor. I would recommend Summer Moon for the environment. If you're looking for a good cup of coffee or tea, I would recommend you go elsewhere.

I'm so glad there's a Summer Moon close to me! I know they're working on the downtown area right now (Aug '23)... hopefully when they're done, the parking situation will be improved. I will say though, still worth it to park a couple of blocks away and walking to get that Moon Milk fill.

One of my all time favorite spots is the Summer Moon location in Celina! Ordered the Mocha Moon blended (velvet blaze espresso & bittersweet chocolate with moon milk and milk) + the Autumn Moon (oak roasted espresso, moon milk, and autumn spices. The staff is always super friendly and it's a great place to meet with family and friends or work from!
