Zanzenberg Tavern

We walked in right after they opened and were told there was no availability. There was NOBODY at the bar, but they said the bar was “full”. There was only one table occupied, but they said there were no tables. They seemed upset that we even darkened their door. They were very unfriendly. All in all not a good experience.

Our first time to the NEW Zanzenberg Tavern. Wow ,the total dining experience was amazing. Maddie and Will explained the menu and made excellent drinks. The steak for two was out of this world with fresh herbs and fork tender. Totally impressed and this will be our go to for out of state guests and soon to be regulars.

This is a "hidden gem". It is worth a short detour to Center Point. We truly enjoy the food, atmosphere, and the amazing craft cocktails.

Menu looked good but, it tasted GREAT! Amazing flavors!
A new twist on Shepard’s pie: no crust and flavorful! The burger comes on ciabatta bread not a nasty wonder bread bun.
Crafted and infused individually made cocktails bursting with flavor! The margaritas are special-not sweet just tasty! The key to making a great Margarita is “shaking it like it owes you money” and he serving the Margarita with a nice foamy head!

"Just had an incredible dining experience at Zanzenberg Taverns in Centerpoint, Texas! The food was absolutely excellent, and you can really taste the difference with their phenomenal meat sourcing. Plus, the full-service cocktail bar and amazing patio create the perfect ambiance for a memorable meal. Trust me, it's worth the drive! Can't wait to go back."

We were staying at Charmadillo and needed a place for dinner. We decided to come here and OMG so glad we did. Will and Maddie were so amazing and provided some of the BEST service I have had. Will made great drinks and told us the history of them (which was very impressive). Maddie was so helpful and informative in helping me order! Can’t wait to get hungry again so I can come back!!!!

Place looks great, however the staff was snooty. Never been in there before it's remodeling, since it was the bank over 20 years ago. Thought it would be neat to see what they've done and BAM, treated like I didn't belong there. Maybe they have a thing against people wearing their work attire??‍♀️ Won't be back, which is sad. I'm a local and my money spends just fine.

What’s surprise!!! Happened in on this place while in the area and ended up there every night! The service is top notch as well as the food and drinks!! What a hidden gem! Will and Maddie were the best and we will absolutely be back! They treat you like friends and make your experience top notch!
