The food tasted good but my friend and I ordered large burritos for $13.99 each I believe it was and when our burritos were brought out they were so small we thought they gave us the small. But after over $70 for four people to eat an my friend and I left hungry I feel the price is too high for what you get.

I ordered a plate of enchiladas rojas de pollo and an aqua fresca de Jamaica. The total was $16 and some change. The food was pretty good but the aqua fresca was one of the best ones I’ve ever tasted. The service was fast and very friendly 👏

We were just passing through on our way home to Idaho. Craving Mexican food, saw this purple place, and decided to give it a try. Taco Salad was flavorful, lots of ground beef, but could have used more lettuce. Guacamole on the side was good. My chili Relleno and shredded beef taco were both tasty. Chips were a bit stale though and for our taste the salsa was just okay. Bathrooms could use some work.
Place was oddly set up. Service was friendly and food was good. Make sure you bring cash as they charge 4% if you use a credit card. They will not tell you and I saw this to the left of where you pay.
Could not get breakfast tacos at the hour, but ordered a beef torta and caldo de pollo to go. Neighborhood place just north of Hwy 87 on Route 54. The caldo was notable and large serving that got even better over a two day period. Friendly and gracious server. Thanks!
Sam (13) and Dad were on a walkabout. We stayed at the Best Western Dalhart, and they suggested, no, were adamant that if we wanted Tex/Mex this was the place. On Liberal (aka) 54 Hwy, and looks like a dump, not helped by road construction. On the inside, many locals, enjoying dinner and talking about the Rodeo that was in town. Busy, but service was good, food came within 15 minutes after our order, and was excellent. I have a thing for enchiladas and this place and Rabbit Ear Café in Clayton, NM run neck and neck for the best I have eaten. And, I think they are underpriced for the quality. Eat here, your belly will be happy. Need a place to stay, the Best Western has a really nice pool to get the kids tired in.
