Been going here for years and Today I was very disappointed , I payed 21$ for a brisket dinner plate for lunch . It was so dry it literally broke down in pieces . Tony’s is a hit and miss now .

Their food has always been good, but I just got back from the Navy and they painted the place depressing grey. I thought it was a hardware store that replaced them for a moment. I have a photo of the better paint job attached below. I'll never forget when they used to look like this.

While traveling through Houston, we ordered from Tony's via DoorDash. My wife's brisket and my ribs were both cooked to perfection. The BBQ sauce, though a bit thin, was quite flavorful. The coleslaw offered a pleasant sweetness without being excessive, and the potato salad was consistently good. The fried okra, in particular, was outstanding. Tony's successfully delivered the authentic taste of Texas we were seeking.
