We had some of our family from Georgia and New York in town, and we brought them to Bevers Kitchen. The food was great, and the pies were so delicious. I had a grilled chicken sandwich, and it was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the coconut cream pie for desert. We will be back soon.

The Chicken Fried Steak was just okay, especially for $18.50. The breading was too crunchy (think hard) and the meat was thin and oddly flavored. The meatloaf was very good. The wild rice was pretty tasty and the homemade chips were nice and crispy but the flavor was a little bland. Some people might like the green beans but neither my wife nor I were impressed. Next time I'll just try a piece of pie!
