Bar tender is really nice from Russia knows how to make good drinks and make conversation. Locals are very funny and have been here for years. Special shoutout to frank gallagher a true champion if I’ve ever seen one. Good stuff all around keep up the good work.”

“So peaceful here. A beautiful property with fabulous staff. The wines are amazing. All of them. I had an unoaked chardonnay. I have always liked chardonnay and didn't realize how much better it could be with out the oak! A lot of great stories here.”

“The food and service is very good. It nice for a date night of family dinner, but not a special occasion.
But the restaurant is clean and cute.
The seafood and Thai soup is excellent. I wasn't impressed with the steak or chicken fried steak.
That being said it is one of my favorite spots for seafood!”

Quincy is a stellar employee and he deserves way better than what those ladies did to him. The store was clean and other customers stood up for him bc he is ALWAYS kind!! Thank u Quincy!!”

Outside of circling for parking (it was a weekday Summer holiday so it was BUSY), this is an hour visit. There isn't a ton to see, but what is there is really interesting. I particularly liked the museum but the observation deck is a close second.

Don't forget the ice cream. I got a generous Rocky Road for the handsome price of one buck. They have lots of choices, and not they have two serving areas so no need to stand in a long line of the other area is empty.

I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan which was out-of-this-world (a specialty?); grilled garlic bread; cabaret Sauvignon, garlic spinach; and their freshly made teramisu with AMAZING coffee! We left no crumbs behind. The ambiance was quaint and romantic. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and gracious. We even had a personal visit with owners Chef Brian and Gretchen Brossa to make sure we loved every bite! I can’t think of enough good things to say. What a premier dining experience you have right here in Brenham, Texas. I give them 10 Stars out of 10: Clean bathrooms, professional, friendly and knowledgeable staff, beautiful and comfortable furnishings, relaxing atmosphere (sitting out on the porch while sipping my beverage), and best of all … my priority in selecting any dining experience … is every table is adorned with fresh linens. I can’t wait to come back for lunch!”

“Wonderful, cozy, friendly, and chill cocktail lounge that has wonderful selection of craft cocktails, wine and beer. The staff is awesome. I asked for their Whiskey Business and the “I’m Bushwacked” (sub whiskey instead of rum) and both super yummy. This is a wonder hang out if you are alone, on a date, or with friends. Grab a drink and read a book. Grab a drink and share the latest stories.

“I've been a customer for a long time and love everything I have tried! My absolute favorite is the red velvet pudding! Today I was craving cheesecake and wow, how have I missed it! I got the biscotti cheesecake and it was amazing! A huge piece, rich but not too, so good!!!! Of course I got some pudding for tomorrow! This place is a must try!”

“If you're looking for a great local burger spot with a small-town feel, this is it! The prices are great, the service is always friendly, and it's easy to see why it's such a local favorite.
I stopped by on a Monday around 11 a.m., and they were already busy, so I'd recommend getting there early. The burgers are fresh and made to order, and they're definitely worth the wait. The inside seating area is small, but they also have a drive-thru that moves pretty quickly if you're on the go.
Overall, it's a great place for a fresh, affordable burger with welcoming hometown service.”

“The food at this restaurant is very good to the point I eat there at least once a week and unlike other restaurants in Brenham I have never had to send food back or gotten ill from eating at Pioneer. I do want to address some of the complaints about the wait staff. He believes in giving all people no matter the age a chance at a job sometimes its that persons first job and like all jobs we just start out at we fail sometimes. So applause to Mark for giving people a start everyone has to start somewhere so give the kids a break!”
