Quick stop for lunch as we were driving through. The owner was cleaning up after a lunch crowd and we enjoyed chatting with him in his eclectic restaurant. The buffet was fresh and tasty and the chicken enchiladas were yummy!

A simple little jewel off the highway in Childress. A small Mexican buffer with enchiladas - spicy and mild - some intersing mashed potatoes, rice beans and blackeyed peas with snaps. Some very good pork chops were one of daily changing offerings, we heard include fried chicken and chicken and dumplings.A simple salad area and desert round out the selections and all were good, and afterward!?$15, Bring cash! They have no credit card machine!The interior has lots of charm, looks like an antique store turned restaurant. Lovely, welcoming local clientele too, an old friends kind of place.
