Stopped in on our way to PDC. I had the 2 rib 1 meat plate (brisket) and husband had the sampler plate (all meats). Ribs were bland but tender, brisket was good, but bland. Husband enjoyed his, too. Not the best bbq, but not the worst.
We stopped at Top Notch in Childress when driving through. The atmosphere is missing, my wife had the brisket, salad, and coleslaw. The brisket was dry and coleslaw was missing something. I ordered the pulled pork, fried orka, and coleslaw. They brought me brisket, but the waitress went back and got the pulled pork. I don't usually use BBQ sauce on pulled pork, but I had to use it, the meat was very dry. The fried okra was ok, my wife buys the same at Walmart. Sorry,...
Absolutely loved the place although I found the chicken steak to be pretty poorly made, the ribs, brisket, sausage and the baked potato were great, and my favorite surprisingly was the Turkey.
