Driving through town just happened upon this place. Nice little restaurant ? hubby had chopped brisket sandwich and I had chopped brisket on a salad, soooo yummy. Great flavor, not a bit of fat in the chopped brisket!!! We were there at an odd time 3pm so not busy and staff we so nice. Service was great. Name suits this restaurant.
If you are anywhere near Childress, TX, you really ought to give this restaurant a try! We stopped for lunch just by chance on our way through to Santa Fe, and we're happy we did. The BBQ beef brisket was out of this world, and baby back ribs my wife had were too good to do a foggy bag. Portions were large (see the pics). We will definitely be back next time we pass through.
This is a definite stop on our travels. The pulled pork, fried okra and coleslaw are my goto for meal satisfaction. The only "negative" thing I can say is that it's loud when busy.
