Unfortunately inside the little place was smoky, guessing from the fryer or something, so we went outside in the blazing sun, wasn’t that bad. They just need to fix the picnic tables, one of them is falling apart, the bench was all rotten, almost fell but I caught myself.
I definitely go again, but will take my things to go.“

We have been to the other location countless times and have always loved the atmosphere as well as the food but we had to try the new location and we’re not disappointed. Same great food, same atmosphere! Always very homey and some of the original staff have moved to this location so it was nice to see friendly faces that we recognized! The service was phenomenal, especially for it being a new location. They had live music and we went on a Friday, and I love it! But hands down my favorite part, besides the same great food and service, is the playground for the kids. My daughter was in heaven!!!! “I hadn't been to an LJS in quite a few years. I decided to give it another shot on Friday, July 18, 2025. The last time I went to an LJS all those years ago, the coleslaw had gone bad, the fish was super oily and mushy , and the place was dirty beyond measure. BUT, this time around , the food was up to par , hot and satisfying. The ONE thing that made this experience super enjoyable was seeing Ms. Maryjane attend the customers' needs and goes above and beyond. She came to our table a few times to check if we needed anything. I also saw her run outside to make sure a to-go customer had all of their order. The food industry has gone completely downhill everywhere you go these days , and its not so much as the company fault but its how the employees value and take pride in their job that make a great company. Ms. Mary Jane is the prime example of that. If you get to experience Ms. Mary Janes' awesome work ethic, be sure to tell her and ring that bell! Employees love to hear great feedback , it ensures that they keep up the great work.“
