“So I came by 11/30/2022 for lunch. By far the best hotdog I have ever eaten. I tried the Texas dog and it didn't disappoint. I'm gonna have to order two dogs every time I go going forward. If you haven't tried them yet you definitely are missing out. Homemade everything by far the best quick meal I have had ever. I highly recommend you stop by and check this couple out. Curbside service was a added bonus. I'm telling everyone I know for sure about this place.“
“I got a bunless German Wurst and wondered if it would be worth $12 plus a tip. It was! It was literally smothered in tasty sauerkraut, grilled onions and damn delicious brown mustard, drizzled with hot chili ketchup. I'm already wanting another. I'm glad to have a new go to place for my low carb lifestyle while in Gruene. Thank you Sam, you sir are quite the chef.“
“Well it has been a while since we have been to Five Guys. We stopped at this one in New Braunfels for a last minute lunch. It was pretty busy and the prices for burgers caught me off guard. But we stayed. I ordered the large Bacon cheeseburger, my niece order the small Bacon cheeseburger and the misses got a small cheeseburger. We also ordered a large fry and some drinks. Well almost $50 and a couple of minutes later our order came out. And wow!!! It was great! Delicious burgers and fresh cut fries!! The service was great as well. I will go back. Also you get a ton of fries!!!“
“EXCELLENT service! Super friendly staff. Convenient location! The burgers are REALLY good & condiments are crisp & fresh. I don’t eat hotdogs so I can’t offer a review on those. They offer a small area for Al fresco dining as well. The parking is extremely tight & very limited so just keep that in mind. They also have daily specials which get switched up monthly. They are currently M-F & closed on weekends I believe but definitely don’t pass them up, it’s nice to have a burger place so close to home. They’re located JUST PAST Island View, coming from Startzville but can be difficult to spot coming from Sattler as the trailer is a bit hidden so just keep that in mind to watch for it once you pass the Heritage Museum & apartment complex.“
“We really enjoyed this outdoor venue , shade provided by pecan trees,Wine barrels to set ur drinks on for standing areas,A few tables & chairs- seems you can bring ur own chairs, few picnic tables, fans, fire pits,outdoor stage, gr8 Live music, dancing area in front of the stage, 2 outdoor bars- no wait staff-fast service, great cocktails,beer & wine, Diverse friendly crowd-of all ages,dog friendly , No wheelchair access, Didn't get to go to Goodwin's Speakeasy-hidden below by the side of the Gruene Grove bar, didn't try Rhea's ice cream or The Wurst in Gruene food truck,but I'll check it out next time!
