We had a blast at this restaurant & axe house. The employees were very friendly, the food was excellent, and the axe throwing was so much fun. Takes some practice to learn how to do it, but they teach you right on the spot. Highly recommend. Try going during the week so it isn't so crowded. We will be returning.

This is twice the cost of comparable venues like LOKI, despite Cibolo's lower cost of living.When we raised our concerns, the manager attempted to justify the overcharge rather than addressing the issue with proper customer service and professionalism. The wait staff rushed to close us out and leave disrupting our game multiple times.The manager's explanation of "2 @ $29" contradicts their per person, per hour pricing of $25, which lacks clarity in their advertisement.Furthermore, the quality of the equipment was subpar; the boards had poor adherence, the walls were too bouncy, and the weapons felt cheap and inadequate for throwing. Some even had bottle openers in the handles, indicating their lack of suitability for the activity.Save your money and seek alternative venues. This is not a family-friendly place, unless you want to be overcharged and underserved.

Love coming here! My boyfriend and I have come for their New Year's Eves and their Valentine's Day special nights. Super super fun. Great staff, delish drinks and the pizza is BOMB! Excellent date spot, too! It's extra fun because they have various axe games like Connect Four and Zombies. They also different things to throw like knives and Ninja stars. It's a great way to keep things fresh and keep you coming back!

Honestly surprised at the size of the inside! We were greeted, given a lane, signed waivers, shown how it works. You can order food thru and individual or you phone. The staff is kind and helpful. The pizza is phenomenal! We had Margherita and bbq pulled pork. The frozen cocktails ad well as mudslide were great too! Good sized for the price! The cookies and ice cream were a nice end too. The games were easy to understand. The axe throwing however...be prepared to be shocked at the fun and difficulty! Go here! Family friendly and fun.

The food was tasty and the service was great, they explain how to do axe-throwing well and make sure you’re all taken care of. I plan to come back and try more of the menu.

Food was good, throwing the axes was fun, but the overall price and service were terrible. The bartender didn't even realize our pretzel appetizer came out without any cheese on it and I had to remind him our food had not come out yet to which he replied "oh ya I'm sorry, what did you guys order?" ? There were literally 7 customers in the building, that's including our group. He was terribly complacent which was a shock since he was the bartender as well so usually bartenders have been at an establishment longer than the normal waitstaff. His excuse for the pizzas not coming out was an internet glitch. It was 45 minutes into our wait when I was fed up and asked him where our pizzas were and he looked confused like we had already got them. He also forgot to get me a water. Not sure if we'll go back to pay $25 a person just to throw a hatchet where the service is this bad. (Not including food or drinks)

Went to the Axeshack with my mom while she was visiting. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The owner/manager was extremely helpful and made sure that before you play you know how to throw well enough to get started. The pizza dough is made fresh daily from scratch and although the portion sizes aren't huge for big parties, the quality of the ingredients makes up for the size. The drink menu is quite extensive for the size of the venue. This is a great place to have a fun time in a cozy environment to unwind after a stressful day.

My wife and I visited for the first time for date night. We had a blast doing axe throwing (first time trying it), the drinks had the perfect amount of alcohol, and the pizza was great! The staff was equally as great! Will definitely go back for date night and for a family fun night!
