I’m not originally from Texas, but this is the best pizza we’ve had since moving down here 5 years ago!

Every time i call to place an order, they greet me by my first name before i even say who it is haha. Thats because I come here 3-5 times a week. Pizza is the best around in my opinion. I like my pizza extra extra extra crispy and they accommodate without hesitation :)

Ordered 2 pizzas. Very friendily staff. Both came out in the expected amount of time for made to order. The sauce is excellent, and to me, the sauce makes or breaks the pizza. The dough is very good but not great. Edges were cooked nicely with the expected amount of chewiness. The one dig I would give is the thickness. Outside portions were spot on. Middle was paper thin. So much so that while the outside was nice n chewy, the inside crunched. Still tasted great but a bit disappointed. I'll be back to try it again..it's the sauce!

Best New York style pizza in this area. I grew up in New York and I’m always searching for great New York style pizza and meatball sandwich. Found both here. The salad was also great. We drove almost an hour to try this place and it was definitely worth the drive. Thanks to the staff and owner treating us like family. Will definitely be back.

Ordered for the first time but they were close to closing time & I need the pizza delivered. Owner said no problem & she would deliver pizza herself. Delivery was less than 30 minutes and was delivered by owner. She was supper friendly and the pizza was “Ma’maa Mia!!! The best I have had in years. Will be going back again & again & Again!

If you want New York pizza perfectly cooked, you need to visit Grampies Pizzeria!
It’s best to eat it there, while it is still hot right out of the oven.

My family is Sicilian. Very high standards for Italian food. This is absolutely the best pizza place in town. It's my go-to now for parties and hang outs. The Mama Mia (meat lovers), Mambo Italiano (supreme), and SW Picasso (BBQ chicken) are standouts for me. Their Italian sandwich is god tier as well. And the cannolis are very well made. Absolutely love this place and its workers.
If I had to critique one thing, the pasta is a bit salty.

A delicious pizzeria, the 2 slice lunch special is fantastic and the white pie is incredible. The kids loved the spaghetti and the breadsticks were delicious. Great fountain drink choices and the family that runs it is always super nice. Quick and delicious food with a smile is hands down the best.

My wife in truth, found this place. Having lived in 16 different states and being born and raised in Long Island, New York, with grandparents who owned a famous bakery, pizza has always been hit or miss for me, for us. We enjoy good New York style pizza, if you can find it, but, in Shertz, Tx? MOST DEFINITELY!
The first bite, I could taste the sourdough salty flavor of a homemade crust, I could taste the stone oven on the crust as I chewed. Then the layers of flavor began to build from seasoned crust, to the seasoned oil, no sauce, cheese and pepperoni etc. The true test of a good slice of pizza, does it fold and do you feel compelled to take the biggest bite possible knowing, the more you fill your mouth with this homemade cheesy, concoction, the better it will taste! This was all achieved btw, through takeout, I can only imagine what the dine-in experience must be like.
Stats; full size 26 inch Pizza
1 calzone, with way more sausage then dough, WHAT! AMAZING!
The garlic knots were just outstanding. The perfect size for sharing and not getting filled up or smashing the entire order yourself, no guilt, just garlic, butter and doughy pleasure drops in your mouth.
Canollis-lite, crispy, wonderfully filled with the lightest whipped whatever that leaves you filling giddy and how good it tastes and yet how light it sits on your palette and stomach.
It's been almost a week since we ordered and we're still taking about it.
Take it from a native NY pizza snob, Grampies, best pizza in TX I've found so far. I'm going to leave you with one last thought, time to order from Grampies, bye!
