Unfortunately we discovered this place while I was trying to avoid eating a ton of pizza and pasta. Stopping into Grampie's for a quick dinner with the family totally changed my mind. I'll just have to exercise more.We're working our way through the Specialty Pizza menu and so far, everything is amazing.Super friendly staff and open, welcoming atmosphere.
I was curious because of the name, and I had a pleasant to-go experience.I tried the Mama Mia pizza, which is their name for meat lovers. The crust is soft yet flakey, and it was cooked perfectly. The meats were complimentary to each other, and it wasn’t super greasy.The cannolis are the show stopper because WOW they are big. The filling goes all of the way through, the shells are crispy fresh, there’s an option to dip it in chocolate, and you can pick either sprinkles or chocolate chips for the outside topping… and you can buy them by the dozen…I am definitely going to visit again to try more of the menu.

First time eating here and it definitely will not be my last time, if you're looking for some good pizza, you gotta stop in and try it!!!
Let’s start off by saying crisp clean atmosphere. Pizza is like a delicious New York style pizza. Crispy on the bottom cheesy on top. Caprese salad was beautiful and delicious. I also tried the meatballs and garlic bread with marinara that were exceptional. I will definitely be back. Service was friendly and fast.
So I just moved to the area and wanted to try this pizza spot. I was completely impressed. I LOVE thin crust, New York style pizza…. It was soooo good! Can’t wait for my kids and hubby to try it. Also, if you order from this place, get the bread sticks that come with the marinara…. Amazing!!!!

Pizza doesn't have any ingredients made fresh. Mushrooms canned,bacon fake, and sausage is in giant pieces. Bell pepper wasn't cooked and had barely any sauce which was bad sauce. Pizza was so soggy i couldn't pick it up and eat it. Spend your money elsewhere

We had the pleasure of dinning there last night for the 1st time. The menu is a bit overwhelming at first but makes sense the more you look at it. The person who I assumed was the owner was very friendly. They make some great New York style pizza, I will definitely be returning.

This what I got we can could even taste the burnt!!!! Not was I was expecting seems like little by little pizza isn’t the same. And my son says that when he comes to eat after school the owners are mean to them. To a point when he doesn’t want to come here anymore. Should definitely give MATTENGA’S PIZZERIA a try.

Nice crunchy dough, not greasy at all. Pizza sauce was nice with a hint of sweetness. Ordered the Mambo & some pep rolls. All the ingredients were great, the consistency of the rolls was excellent. Not too crispy not too soft.The only thing I will say is their pepperoni is definitely very salty. When combined with everything else it can be a little much. So make sure to have a refreshing drink available to wash the saltiness down.Their ranch was solid & service superb.Edit: Forgot to mention the portions are well worth the price!
