Haven't been here since 2004. Ironically it seems like they haven't cleaned the place since then either. Dirty tables, dark and dingy atmosphere and gnats everywhere. I think they were coming from the over flowing trash can. We left without finishing our meal. I've been in truck stop bathrooms that seemed cleaner.
It was okay. We ordered a family meal and we enjoyed it for the most part, the peas and carrots in the potato salad threw us off a bit but it was fine. The brisket and sausage was good. The woman who took our order was very patient with my mother in law who speaks limited English. There was unfortunately a lot of flies and gnats that were constantly swarming and landing on our food which was fairly disgusting. A fly went inside of my father in law’s drink which caused him to have to throw out the cup (they’re disposable styrofoam) and when he asked for another, the worker refused and told him he would have to pay if he wanted another one. The soda machines also need to be cleaned, the drinks taste like mold. Although we liked the food, we will not be back due to the cleanliness and service.

Best bbq sandwich around. This is my go to place when I have friends and family come into town.
Visited for the first time today. Got 2- 2 meat plates, one with brisket and turkey with greenbeans and junkie beans and the other jalapeño sausage and brisket with mac and cream corn. The brisket was damn good ( the bark was perfect), sausage was good and the turkey was moist and actually had flavor. However, the mac was trash, bland no flavor and mushy. The greenbeans were so hot like they were microwaved, the junkie beans were just okay I didn't care for the bbq sauce or the dry chunks of meat in them. The cream corn was THICK with more cream than corn, definitely more of a cream corn salad. The front of the restaurant was dark and could use more light vs the back. Definitely didn't feel nor look like a bbq spot. Service was mediocre at best. Nobody had a welcoming attitude and when I asked one of the employees about the bbq her response was less than polite. We would return just for the brisket but not much else.

This hard-working staff delivers!We had two 1 meat plates (chicken and brisket). Two sides each $12.75I asked for a "well done" chicken and they delivered! Char coat was sweet and savory with tender smoke flavored underneath. Amazing.Sides were Meaty Beans with Cole slaw and Creamed Corn all homemade. Excellent large double dip servings.No need to pay for drinks as they offer limes and sweetener gladly...Ala limeade!Go visit to find Mr Harmon in the back..and clean tables and floors. God Bless

Great brisket and creamed corn. Delicious! There was a line and a wait but worth it. And you can sit and relax with drinks while waiting.
